I purchased it from the seller medineterranean and they totally fulfilled my expectations! The box of polvorones was bubble-wrapped and sealed in a vanilla bubble-padded envelope. With twice the bubble wrap protection, the package arrive with a little crease on the box, but no damage on the polvorones. The polvoron tasted fresh and awfully similar to the mantecados that I remembered. My family came from Spain and eating mantecados was a holiday tradition. Last I had mantecados was about a decade ago when we had guests from Spain visiting us. I honestly just found out that mantecados and polvorones are not exactly the same, but thankfully - my family and I are quite fond of almonds so this was great news. We can’t find mantecados or polvorones like these here where I live so I am super grateful these are available on Amazon. Thank you for bringing back a little nostalgic touch to my holiday this year!!

We are studying about Spain during our homeschool time. As part of our studies we try different snacks and treats from the country we are studying at the time. La Estepena Polvoron Tradicional Calidad Suprema was very excellent! Not to sweet, great texture, perfect amount. One fills you up. We are great fans of this and plan on getting again and again.

OH MY!!! These bring back such memories! I lived and Madrid as a girl and these were available in the bakery around the holidays and a favorite of mine!To have found them here in the US is such a treat. That mixture of almond flour, lard, confectioners sugar and tiny chunks of almond are heaven on earth. Try them once with a cup of coffee or better yet Spanish chocolate you are in for such a treat!

Very disappointed! I am from Portugal and have always enjoyed Polvoron. These are very Stale and old tasting, and fall apart into crumbs. Wanted to share with family over Christmas, basically we spat them out of our mouths, that's how old they tasted. Avoid this bad experience because they will not refund or take returns. BAD PRODUCT.

I didn't expect the box to be so small, I am from Spain and I love polvorones but I don’t think I will buy it again for this price.

This past Christmas, because of travel restrictions, I knew I was going to miss my chance to buy Polvoron in Spain.I had searched for an authentic product I could purchase online, and I found this.I was not certain the experience would be good, because the reviews were mixed -- mostly about the condition which they arrived.My experience was very good. As each is individually wrapped in the traditional tissue-like paper, it seemed to even help protect and cushion them in the box. The flavor is spot-on. The texture was perfect, even though imported. And I will buy them again, if for Christmas 2021 I cannot make it to Spain to buy my own.
