A good series of books, kept my son hooked.
Bought for my 11yo, unfortunately I thought this was a second series and he already had these so had to send them back. BUT they are brilliant books. Set initially in Lancashire, England and then heading out from there. He read them all within a few weeks and then asked for more. I recommend these books.

I have read The Spooks Apprentice and really enjoyed it.Matching the places to present day Lancashire. Maybe the council should do some Spooks Trails.Didn't know there were as many books in the series, so will enjoy reading them.Hopefully they will maintain the same high standard throughout the series.
