Yamamotoyama Green Tea Bags, 1.13-Ounce (Pack of 6)

Years ago I had the best tea at a sushi restaurant and asked what they were serving. They showed me a box of this Yamamotoyama sencha green tea and I’ve been buying it ever since. It’s a mild, smooth taste and consistently good. Highly recommend.

I have been consuming this product for years, this is the only green tea I will drink.

Yamamotoyama has many different grades of Japanese Sencha, including several offered on Amazon. This is problably considered one of their 'lower' grades or an everyday tea.It is still a very authentic and tasteful cup of tea, compared to many of the other offerings posing as Green Tea. Most Japanese Senchas have a 'grassy' smell and/or taste compared to green teas from other countries. This tea also has a 'grassy' smell and taste.If you brew the bag too long, the taste will become stronger, so you can adjust the brewing time. This is a reasonable priced Sencha, that you can drink everyday (I drink it throughout the day) and then move on to higher grades of Japanese Sencha.Amazon and many stores, sell the same box individually. You could try 1 box, if you don't like it, nothing lost. I bought the 6 pack for convenience, and the price was lower when I bought it.

Best tasting green tea after it has steeped properly

Have tried green tea from other Asian countries but there is none better than this. Very consistent quality and reasonable price.

use for yeARS & years

I've been testing out a lot of teas lately. I started with Jasmine and went to Green tea. They're both OKAY, I bought them mostly for health benefits. Both teas are pretty subtle. It is Japanese so you know the quality is at least there. Each cup of tea I brew has a light green color and I add some honey so it's tolerable. It's different from British black tea which is addicting and sweet, but I like to have tea instead of coffee so I will continue to use this. My favorite however is Matcha.

Very good, tasty, great for dose of caffeine in mornings or anytime
