This is the first time I have uses these strips and it has been quite enlighting, enabling me to focus on the real problem with the pool and why it isn't clearing, despite the amount of chemicals I have put in. The cyanuric acid was way too low and likewise the total alkalinity and hardness of water. I would not have known this with the straps I used previously.

I have tried numerous brands to test my jacuzzi hot tub water, all of which I have suspected were inaccurate (2 different brands having different results in same water) This brand however has appeared accurate on every occasion. When you test regularly for a few years, you already have a good idea what the test strip result should be. I will definitely be buying these strips again

Includes the cyanuric acid test which is essential, if it gets to high you waste a lot of chlorine while the cyanuric blocks it. I have found to my cost that this is an important test and the only way to reduce cyanuric is to dilute pool water so if you let it get high without noticing there is no quick fix.

do NOT buy this product. it gave me an Alkalinity reading that was 0 - when in fact it was off the scale. It also gave a totally incorrect PH reading.... I purchased associated chemicals and then got a pool guy out to check. he tested and said I could ruin my pool equipment. I then purchased some strips from a pool place and they worked. Dont go cheap and do not trust amazon for something like this!

These JNW DIRECT pool test strips appear to give accurate readings (tested against rival strips) and must be working as my hot tub water hasn't gone (too) green, as it gives you fair warning of any deviation from the ideal parameters.

I needed test strips for a lazy spa. The first lot I bought were from a different company (cheaper) and only tested for 3 things so I bought these to double check and keep an eye on things like total chlorine. They've been really good and I will happily buy these again instead of the cheaper ones.

Use these all the time, strips for Bromine appear difficult to find, these do the job along with pH and others.
