My aunt has tried multiple types of hearing aids and these are the simplest and easiest for her to use. She is bed bound so doesn’t need anything too fancy and these are actually lower cost and most effective for her. Win win. We will see how the battery life is. Just have to figure out how to get her strong enough to put these on herself as her dexterity is a little off for having had a stroke. And we found the adjustment of sound on this one as better than the others. Amplification is stronger. There is an included ear phones and ear buds. There is a carry case as well. I tried to use these with a splitter cable for headphones and a direct line from the receiver to her iPad and it works with both inputs being received at the same time so this is a win if you’re thinking of doing the same. Overall very happy with this set over the 100 200 and 300 dollar sets we tried out.

Bought this for my 89 year old mother who cannot deal with using in-the-ear hearing aids and loses them. I tried the product myself because Mom's feedback is minimal. They do amplify and I could hear things I did not hear at all with my own ears, like conversations of nearby people. I suppose that could be a pro or con depending on your need. The sound quality is a bit tinny but we are talking about a $60 product, not $5000 hearing aids. I figure you can't lose more than $60 and even if you don't like the product, it still works. Be careful to start out with the volume all the way down and then adjust it upward to fit your need. It will really whistle when it is too high. It is safer to turn the unit on before putting on the headphones or earbuds, just in case someone turned the volume real high. I only tried the headphone so I cannot provide feedback on the earbuds. FOLLOW-UP In less than a year of minimal usage, the product started making a loud buzzing noise through the headphones that overshadows what you are trying to hear, rendering the unit useless. I have reached out to the manufacturer to see if it can be corrected.

It works great, my husband loves the hearing device. He can join in conversations now. The case is fairly sturdy and headphone cord is long. The only problem he has is, if the device is to close to the headphones it tends to squeal.

Hello! This hearing device is great! I ordered this for my Mom. She has hearing aids, however she needed a little extra boost. I didn't know what to expect. When I turned it on, all I can say is WOW! This is the perfect amplifier for Her. It fits over her existing hearing aids. She loves it. Plus, there is an additional earphone that goes inside the ear. It works better than her $4k Hearing aids. Thank you for making such a valuable product.

WHY would you have an auto shut off for an assisted hearing device?!?!?! this makes absolutely no sense. I will be returning itI bought this for my 85yr old father in law because I got tired of always losing traditional hearing aids. The quality is great and everyone (he goes to an Alzheimer day center and has aids) was super excited about him using it. However, the auto shut off is a HUGE problem! With Alzheimers he doesnt understand to turn it on every 45 minutes, and the aids are too busy to remember and neither am I. This sadly ended up being a waste of money and now we still do not have the problem solved providing hearing assistance that works for him

I would recommend getting behind the ear hearing amplifiers, this device is very cheap although it amplify the sound it’s very hard to use outside the house plus the outside microphone, which receives the sound to amplify needs to be close to the source and any sound in between the microphone and the source is picked up would not recommend I have behind the ear amplifiers and they work much much better.

This worked wonders for my husband‘s hearing as he could hear all of us around his bed.

I am a speech therapist that works in various nursing homes with the geriatric population. The bulk of my patients are extremely hard of hearing and do not have hearing aids. I purchased this because I was tired of scream talking to my patients and them still only hearing a fraction of what I said. For many of my patients, they experience near isolation from their peers and family because they cannot effectively communicate during conversational tasks. This product is life changing for those folks. It is extremely effective and I encourage all of my patients that are hard of hearing as well as their family members to purchase this for individual use. Even my hardest of hearing folks are able to successfully use this product, frequently telling me to turn down the volume because it is too loud. I recommend purchasing the hygienic ear phone covers if you are buying this to use with various patients.This product does take a minute to get used to, the only downside is if used in a crowded area it tends to amplify the background noise as well.
