Works As Intended - Read Review - I Use for Heat Therapy
It does what it's supposed to do.They start you off with plenty of wax. I used 6 of the 8 to start with and that was enough to cover most of my hand.I got it for heat therapy for my trigger finger and RA- if you are using it for heat therapy, then I suggest finding something that you can use to cover your appendage(s) to keep your hand warm/heated. The mit that comes with this kit doesn't keep the heat container and your hand will just feel cold with wax on it. So I put my hand into the wax about 5-8 times, and then put it in one of the included plastic gloves, and then I wrap a heating pad around my hand. Not only does it contain the heat but also produces the heat to keep the wax and your hand warm.Anyways, gets a 5-star because it does as it's intended, it heats the wax efficiently and it puts it at the temperature you set it at. The wax and other things included shouldn't determine the star rating, as they don't determine how the wax machine works, but I do like the smell of the wax and it does seem to soften your skin a little. Since I am using it for heat therapy though, I don't care so much about the smell or softness.

Amazing Spa Experience at Home :)
I recently purchased this at home wax spa, and I couldn't be more impressed! After just one use, I was hooked. This device gives a truly luxurious spa experience in the comfort of your home, and I highly recommend it for anyone looking to treat themselves to some relaxation. Here’s what I love about it:Easy to Use: The setup was a breeze. Simply plug it in, fill the device with the wax (which melts beautifully), and within minutes, you're ready for a soothing, warm wax treatment. The controls are straightforward, and the device maintains a consistent temperature throughout, which is great for even coverage.Effective & Therapeutic: I was amazed by how soft and smooth my hands and feet felt after the treatment. The wax not only moisturizes but also helps to rejuvenate the skin. After a few uses, I noticed a visible improvement in the softness and appearance of my skin, especially around dry or callused areas.Comfortable Experience: The design is perfect for dipping both hands and feet. The wax is soothing, and the device’s heated setting provides an added layer of relaxation, which makes it perfect for unwinding after a long day.High-Quality Materials: The build feels sturdy and durable, and the wax is gentle yet effective on the skin. It doesn't leave a greasy residue, unlike some other wax treatments I’ve tried. Also, the wax is easy to remove and doesn’t stick to the skin once it cools down.Convenient and Time-Saving: For those of us who don’t have time to visit a spa regularly, this device is a game-changer. It’s not only affordable, but it gives the same high-quality treatment you'd expect at a professional spa.Final Thoughts: This spa device is a fantastic investment for anyone who wants to pamper themselves. It’s quick, easy to use, and provides professional-level results without the need to leave the house. I can’t wait to continue using it regularly!

Nice unit, good size, extra goodies came with
Worth the little extra $ over the Conair $40 one. It comes with wax, plastic gloves, and mitts for hands and feet. It does take closer to 1-1.5 hours to melt 6 wax packs. For hand dipping I just barely got away with 6 with the safety plate on the bottom and had to flip my hand to get the top covered. The lavender scent is a little too fake and overbearing so I’m going to get some different wax. Temperature recommendation from occupational therapy was 125 so really the high temps here are good for melting faster. Overall it’s a very nice unit and I’m glad I got it for my hand surgery recovery.

Wax is not cheap!
I went to PT after a trigger release on my left pinky. They had me dip my hand into one of these and I was stunned how much it helped my whole hand. The all encompassing heat worked wonders. So I purchased this one. I plan on dipping during PT and before golf and playing guitar. What to know: If it's just you and you clean the appendage you can reuse the wax to a point. It's not cheap and it 'evaporates'. Turn it up to max to melt it fast and back down. Use a probe temp thermometer if you wish however the digital readout is very accurate. It's very well made and worth every penny!

Great value!
You get what you pay for! This is a great middle of the road product!!Wax is better than any of the wax I've had at a salonThe heater itself is great! I love the precise temperature control!! It's also big enough for even my husband's large (size 13) feet!! The only negative is that it likes to show the set point temperature instead of the actual temperature. It also says it takes 30 min to heat up, but it definitely takes longer. This is totally fine for me, I honestly would have been a bit concerned if it heated up so quickly lolThe accessories are nice. The best ones are the plastic grate that stops you from being able to touch the heating element and the spatula for manipulating the wax. They also include gloves and foot gloves, as well as hand mits and foot mits for retaining heat, which are nice but I found to be not entirely necessary. Also comes with a brush which I don't really get, but I suppose it's useful to others!A note about temperature!! They say not to go above 127F (for good reason), and I'll just say that's for liability reasons. The thing is, the wax cools down as soon as you lift your hand out. So! If you're just letting your hand sit in there for a while (which can be nice), you really shouldn't set it very high- I've found 120F to be great for this application. However, if you're just popping your hand in and out immediately and letting the wax sit, you can go higher. Play around with it yourself and be careful, but I'm easily able to go up to (what this machine claims to be) 140F.
