This is my rosin of choice for cello. It was invented by a cellist for cellists. At first I thought it was just a gimmick to get kids to buy. I was so wrong. It is fantastic. It is real tree resin which has been so purified that it is as clear as glass. You MUST try this stuff. Ultra is stickier with more grip than 3G. Which to use? That is a matter of preference. I use Ultra on cello, 3G on violin. Both give you a fantastic tone.

Awesome rosin!It's very clear, so the image isn't warped or fuzzy. The image itself is also really nice. I chose the Bach sheet music for mine, and was not disappointed!gifted it to a friend, who also really liked it.The only reason I gave it four stars, not five, is because after one use you might as well just have a good-quality rosin. It blurs right away until you can't see the image. This is normal for rosin, so I don't think it was a surprise or disappointment, which is why I almost gave it five. It's just because you buy it for the image, so I think that is one little unfortunate thing.Overall, awesome product, very happy with it!

What a great quality rosin. It makes quite a difference in sound, and lasts much longer.Bought it for my daughter. She’s 8 and has been playing for only a year, but she’s flying through Suzuki books fast (already play well enough to play with middle school orch) so she was told to get a better rosin by the teacher. For a 8yo, having a cute, glittery accessory like this adds motivation to getting to her daily practice.

Use a little bit (like 10 swipes is all), then feel your bow glide on the strings like never before. Clean the instrument when done, reapply every 2-3 hours. I absolutely love this stuff compared to other rosins. I get a more aggressive bite, but not so aggressive as a tacky bass rosin. At the same time, I can use a lighter touch without sounding too thin. This is versatile stuff!

I wasn’t familiar with rosin, but my daughters music teacher recommended this brand from Amazon. Amazing product, amazing outcome and my daughter is in love with it. I’ll have to keep this up.

I love this rosin. The only reason why I had to get a new one is because I dropped my other one. It leaves a great amount on my bow (cello) and I don’t have to re-rosin for like the next 3 plays.
