Good kitchen tool
Light, reliable, & has stood up to much use & washing. Also the points have stayed relatively sharp. Good hammer

Works great for me!
Very solid, easy to clean and is slightly larger and heavier than my previous one.

Solid Meat Hammer
This is a solid, one piece meat tenderizer/hammer with fairly good weight. I had ordered a different one that was solid steel - the head that is. The handle was inserted into the head and therefore not solid. This one is one piece so nothing to get loose. No crevices for food particles to hide. Unlike others, this has good nubs for tenderizing, not rounded bumps. It's dishwasher safe and it doesn't turn color like aluminum does.

Finally dishwasher safe!
Upgraded from my older hammer. The dishwasher left the old hammer grey and would leave black marks on my hand and got to the point I didn’t trust using it for food anymore. This one is stainless steel. Works well and is pretty good quality. 316 stainless would have been better but 304 is great for this application. Well balanced hammer easy to use.

Just the right weight
Great weight and handle. This is the weightiness I've been looking for. Most home mallets are too small. Commercial ones too big. Smooth, no joints to rust or get stuff stuck in. Put it in the dishwasher.

It really steel!
I tested the product tonight, and it performed exceptionally well. It provided a well-balanced flavor, especially on chicken and thick-cut pork loin. I also washed it in the dishwasher using the heat cycle, and there were no changes in its appearance. I'm very happy with my purchase, and I believe the price was justified by its performance.

Effective, cleanable, durable
The all-stainless-steel construction of this tool means it’s going to last decades for us. The single-material design also makes it easy to clean.

It's a meat hammer. It does meat hammer things perfectly.
This is a 6 month review of the stainless meat mallet. It is everything you want, nothing you don't. It's got real heft, without being overly heavy, so you can be controlled in how you use it. For chicken breasts that must be flattened equally before cooking, it's weight lets you pound the hell out of the thick ones effortlessly, while being weighted perfectly for more finesse when needed. The perforated tenderizing face works great on tougher meats like eye of round when sliced thinly before marinating or seasoning. When making jerky, I hammer the crap out of the thin sliced eye of round (very lean and ideal for jerky) before marinating... the final jerky is perfectly tender. For cleaning, well, it's a one piece solid stainless steel mallet. No hollow handles to fill with water in the sink, no weird metals to discolor or stain or rust. Leave it in the sink for a week, or douche it with brake cleaner... It still just wipes clean. Let's face it it's a damned hammer, and it does hammer things perfectly. It's also pretty inexpensive, all things considered, so just buy it already. You'll be glad you did.
