No need to buy a new car now!
Very pleased! Self installed my first vehicle project!Classically poor instructions but so easy to install in my 2009 (non JBL) Camry. Watched a couple of install videos for similar products. All plug and play except the backup camera install. None of the instructions or videos mentioned the red (or orange) wires on the RCA video wire. These wires need to be connected to the + wire in the trunk and the pink camera trigger wire at the head unit. Note: in the trunk this wire could not be combined with the reverse light connection - I had to splice closer to the RCA plug on the trunk. I mounted the mic at seam of the hard plastic drivers door pillar airbag and the felt. Note: I removed the alligator clip. Easily routed the wire behind the rubber door gasket. Hardest part was routing the mic wire and reverse camera wire across the driver’s foot bay due to the gymnastics required. The harness plugs are relatively easy to figure out since they each fit only one option. I plugged in the primary radio antenna to the head unit - there is a secondary I left in connected. I managed to mount the gps antenna above one of the a/c tubes under the dash - not sure if either antenna is working but the radio sounds good.At this point - radio works great, wired and Bluetooth CarPlay seem to work great - no noticeable performance difference though others have noted some. I haven’t figured out how to program steering wheel controls. I’ll try to make that work but I never remember to use them anyway so not critical. This is a straight forward project. I do okay with reasonable DIY projects - never tried anything with a vehicle. Got through this one with the help of a good number of YouTube videos even though not the same product.

Pretty impressive Radio
The media could not be loaded. I was looking for a cheap radio for a car i bought that had nothing in it lol . All i needed was just Bluetooth and radio but with this little unit you get a lot more. Installation is pretty straightforward for a basic non JBL , you will only need power harness to be honest i dont have any subwoofer or amp so the accessories cable was no use to me , power harness will split into 3 plug in play connectors. One thing to keep in mind is my specific unit came with the FM and XM satélite antenas combo "just one plug" i had to cut mine out and splice it to make it work. I like that you can set up the steering wheel controls to any of your liking thats pretty cool . I explain a few more things on the video please watch it. Overall really happy with the unit i highly recommend it . For back up camera if you hooking it up you will use the long RCA cable yellow plug with the 2 short red wires at the end , one will go to the positive of your brake light (reverse light) and the other end will go to the back of the redio "pink" wire label "Back" thats the signal wire to your back up camera.

Unreliable garbage.
Pros: In the minority amount of times it actually works correctly, map and media playing with my Pixel 8 Android phone wired to the unit was really great to have for the price point.Cons:- Almost never fully works. I'm able to get the map working about 75% of the time when I get into the car. Even with the map working, media working is more like 25% of the time. The media app (Audible usually) will play and you can see the time tracking but no sound will output, sound does come from the navigator though... This behavior started happening only after about 45 days of using the unit and has only gotten less reliable over time.- Bluetooth NEVER worked, it's so laggy it's literally unusable. Hardwire only.- While out on a trip, the touch screen stopped working once so I needed a tiny hardware pin to reset it to fix but didn't have that in the car yet, so I couldn't use the unit at all during that trip. (keep a reset pin in the car if you're going to try to use this unit - but I'd not purchase if I were you)So basically, every time I get in the car, there's probably less than a 25% chance I'll actually get to use this cheap piece of garbage. If you want to troubleshoot an unreliable device almost every time you get in your car, this is great for you. It was a gamble for $80 and I definitely lost that gamble. Hope you pass on it.

Great Value For The Price
So... for the price I cannot really complain. Sound is as good as the original. The wired android play works great... but the wireless is jittery and unusable. Unfortunately, the wired connection does not provide enough power to keep my phone charged. I'll try a few more things to see if it's usable. Didn't hook up the camera... but started the in dash wiring for later. The steering wheel controls should have worked... but do not register for set up. I'll work on that eventually too. Antenna connection was different... so while it does pick up stations, the reception is diminished.Recap: Android play plugged in works great. Sound quality after you set the equalizer is great. With the mic... on car phone calls are clear. Install was easy... but had to modify the metal mounts to get the screws in. If you have no mechanical ability... you will probably find the install beyond your abilities.
