First, you cannot give this to someone who doesn't like challenges. That being said, I have 1 adult child who has a good enough sense of humor to do this to as a birthday gift. It challenged her, but I did think at one point she was about to just cry out of frustration. She accepted the challenge like a champ, and it made extra fun on her birthday! I had no problem getting it open to put in a folded scratch off and cash, but the scratch off had to be folded several times to get it to fit. Would be great for white elephant party too, or to be really wicked make it the first clue of a scavenger hunt!

This Maze can fit ten US currency bills if rolled tightly with a rubber band, and positioned diagonally in the internal compartment. If you want to store a trinket, be aware that it needs to fit through the round opening (a shade over 1.5”). The internal compartment cube space is a 2”x 2”. The plastic ball is lightweight, providing a good challenge navigating through the maze. Ideal for kids over 10 yrs and adults. Younger kids might need some assistance. Once the ball reaches the slot to open the lid, need to push the slider firmly to pop the lid open.

Used this for Easter for my older kids to get a little cash in their baskets. They had a lot of fun.

My niece is at the age where she just asks for money for birthdays so I bought this to make it fun and it was a hit! It’s the perfect amount of challenging.
