No pain No pain
I initially ordered the multiclix lancets and test strips that were in an Amazon grouping of buy these together, thinking that everything was compatible......OOPS.The multiclix lancets don't fit the fastclix lancing device that comes with the Accu Chek Aviva meter, although this would be assumed by the Amazon listing. So I immediately ordered the multiclix lancing device and the lancets were included in the price of the package, it seemed cheaper than the other Amazon listings that had a lancing device only. The product arrived without delay - the lancing device was in its own black case with 2 drums of multiclix ; the extra lancets were in a separate sealed boxed package.PROBLEM -- no instructions on how to use the lancing device, I had to go the Accu Chek website to download an instruction sheet before I could use it.I wasted two drums of the multiclix before I "understood" the operation of the device ; after loading the drum you push the plunger once to prime it for use and then push the yellow bubble to actually prick your finger. And you advance the lancets in the drum by turning the tip of the plunger clockwise -- the arrows show the direction for turning.BUT I had no idea that if you remove the drum before you're finished with the lancets a blue sleeve disengages and pops down over the tip of the drum making it impossible to reuse.I had removed the drum initially to inspect the device because I wasn't getting a prick after I pushed down the plunger ( it's how the fastclix works -- you just depress the plunger for pricking ).Now I know how to use it and reuse it - after the initial prick by pushing / depressing the yellow bubble, you push the plunger again to arm / prime the device AND then push / depress the yellow bubble for another prick.Of course Roche literature insists don't reuse the lancets for "safety", I think they mean don't reuse the lancets for the safety of their profit margin BUT once you get used to the setup and reuse, it's fairly simple.I'll reuse the lancets as long as they retain their sharpness and don't cause "PAIN" when pricking, because otherwise they're still not CHEAP.You have to search the listings for "affordable" lancets and strips because some of the prices are almost as expensive as Walgreens / Walmart etc, do these execs think we're rich or have insurance that covers these items. And you must factor in the shipping costs, delivery time so you don't run out or pay too much.I had purchased the fastclix at Walgreens before this item arrived, the CROOKS charged double the price of Amazon vendors, I would've purchased it at Walmart but their boxes were OPEN.Research Research Research -- I wanted the Aviva meter because it requires less blood and you can obtain samples from other areas ( I haven't tried this yet ), some of the other meters are limited to just the fingers, palm or require tooooooo much blood ; I'm not donating blood here to the Red Cross blood bank, so saving my blood and Less Pain is of Primary Importance.Thank you Amazon for a large selection of vendors.

Love it
Well, I love it as much as I could love anything that stabs my finger and causes it to bleed (which it what it is supposed to do). I HATE stabbing my fingers to get blood for glucose tests, but this lancet device is a little less painful than most. The great thing about this lancet device is the lancet drum. 6 lancets concealed in a plastic drum. No getting stabbed again by used lancets after a glucose test. No "sharps" container needed, just throw the used drums in the regular trash. I DO hate lancing my fingers for glucose tests, but the Multiclix lancet device makes the process easier and less painful.

Multiclix Lancing Device for Glucose Testing
I have used the Accu Chek Multiclix lancing device for more than 15 years. The one I had been using quit working after those 15 years. My local pharmacies seem to no longer carry the lancing device but they do carry the lancets. So, as usual, I went to the Amazon.com website to order a new one. I placed an order and yesterday received the device. The order was filled promptly, but not as described in the website. Amazon does not carry this product under their name. It is fulfilled by a firm known as Bargain OTC. According to the description on the page for this item, when you order it, you are to get the lancing device and 102 lancets as a combo item. All I received was the lancing device. I just rechecked the web page, and yep, this was to be a combo purchase, but it was not delivered as a combo purchase. I could have ordered the lancing device for less money from another vendor, but I thought I was getting a combo package. The Accu Chek lancing device is a 5-STAR item; it works extremely well. I highly recommend it. But I am giving this purchase only one star because of the failure to deliver the combo package. I need the device for daily glucose testing, so I am not returning it, but I will never purchase anything offered by Bargain OTC again. I suggest that you do not do so, either.

Best Lancet Device I have used
Granted I am a new diabetic from the first of May this year. I still like this lancet device better than the softclix that I was started on. The multiclix allows me to place the lancet where I want it far better than the softclix. Very happy with it so far.

Multiclix Disappointing
The product was somewhat disappointing. There were no instructions on how to use it so I had to search on-line and I'm not sure that I didn't break it before I found them. For the price I expected something more high tech. On the other hand the seller was very good; sent the item quickly.

Sterile, sharp with minimal discomfort.
Quick and easy reloading. Won't stick yourself by mistake. There are two different lancing devices from the same manufactuer. The devices and refills are not interchangable. Make sure you order correct ones.

Works as expected
Works as expected, this was simply a replacement for an older one showing its age. Sometimes you have to double click.

Good service
The item contains only the lancing device and 12 lancets (not 102 lancets in the original title). The company did correct their mistake and send me 102 lancets. Good service.
