A great replacement to the original lockset
This replacement locket was identical to my original and was therefore easy to replace. It also worked flawlessly.

It fits
The latch on my old Schlage door handle quit working. I was hoping this replacement part would fit and it did. Now my handle works again. Much cheaper and easier than buying a new handle.

Fixed our door
The latch mechanism in our front door fell apart and stopped working. (It was decidedly not new when we bought the house 20 years ago. It's time had come.)This looks to be exactly the same model a what was in the door. I'm any case the door now works better than it has some since we moved in.

Exact replacement for my 20 year old door handle set
After 20 years of service the latch on my front door Schlage broke. This was almost a perfect replacement. The only reason for 4 stars vs. 5 is tightening up the latch caused the striker plate to bend slightly. Does not affect performance. Installation was a snap and it's refreshing to see some companies still produce parts for their products vs. forcing you to buy an entire new set.

Perfect fit
I love it when you can replace just a part instead of the whole unit. These fit my Schlage lock set perfectly and are easy to install. I have no issues now.
