DELICIOUS!!!! Poor shipping package ?
In transit the packaging came open and one of the pack of Lima beans fell out. The package was put back together and completely covered in packing tape. When it arrived, I forgot it was supposed to have two packages and threw the damaged packaging away. When I made the one package of lima beans, they were absolutely delicious and amazing! I could not stop eating them!

Good quality
This's the first time I order these large lima beans, I did rinse and soak them in cold water, than within minutes the shells bursted, they looked ugly, I wasn't happy about it, so I sent a feedback to the seller to let them know about the issue. But, after about 8 hours the large limas been soacking in cold water, they turned big and nice, so they need time, patience is key.And I cooked some large limas without soacking, just rinse and cook for about +1.5 hour, the result was nice and good.So the quality is good, they look nice, and they taste yum. They just need time, patience and some love!

Whether simmered in a savory broth, mixed into a hearty stew, or simply seasoned and enjoyed on their own, they never fail to deliver a comforting and satisfying meal. Quick delivery
I made butterbean soup the day they arrived. The recipe on the bag is good. These are the large dried lima beans. They need to simmer the full 1 1/2 hours for perfection.

good
makes a good soup, but I suggest soaking overnight in the fridge. They expand a lot, so use plenty of water while soaking.

Stale, break apart -DO NOT BUY
I bought these a few weeks ago when they were still labeled, 'Gigantes'. When they arrived I was shocked to see they were 'large lima beans'. I checked amazon site and the name/language has been updated from Spanish, 'Gigantes' to 'Lima'. I would NEVER have ordered these if they had been labeled that initially. Since non returnable (really crumby btw), I cooked them this past weekend. ALL THE BEANS are DIFFERENT SIZES from small to extra large. A problem if you want the larger beans to cook, the small ones fall apart due to long/needed cook times. and they did. and then many MANY of the larger beans peeled and fell apart -- there were bean husks although the cooked pot, and I do know how to cook beans, so no blaming the cook here. The beans were cooked for a marinated salad but there was ZERO possibility for this since the majority broke down into mush/husks. I tasted them anyway - HORRIBLE, bitter, the worse. The taste, look, durability and overall quality of this product is AWFUL. DO NOT BUY. The second bag went straight into the trash, not even a feedback deserves this terrible product.

Carnellia Dry Beans review
This was the third time I’ve purchased these dry beans. They have always been fresh and not hard to clean. The flavor is good. They are more expensive than other brands but I think worth the cost.
