Love this paint. I had a very pink wall, quite a strong colour. We purchased the teal paint to cover the pink already on the wall, we also purchased glitter to add to the paint.The paint is very low odour, I stayed in the bedroom all day and could barely smell it at all. The paint is thick and very easy to apply and it did only need the one coat which I was surprised with.Overall very reasonably priced for a very high quality one coat paint and this will always be my first choice in the future.Also arrived quickly and well packaged.

I have always bought leyland white emulsion in my younger years and although I had to apply around 3 coats on a well used off white ceiling it always went on even with a roller and covered well. So after moving into a new home with a white ceiling and practically white fresh and new. I unfortunately lost my ring down the upstairs sink and after retrieving it a small amount of water got through to the ground floor onto the small kitchen ceiling making it wet. I thought it would be ok but once dried It left a brown edged water stain. So as I’m no spring chicken anymore I thought it’s 2019 and a paint with good reviews easy peasy dulux as made a wonder paint I’ll buy even though £20 2.5L. I found the consistency very thick and so I got the roller and stirred well before and applied omg what a mess the water mark had gone but patchy in places is a understatement. I also noticed doing the edges first from the tray you need to keep going or this stuff will dry within 5 mins and go chalky then your left with lumps so no halfway tea break with this paint. So this morning I applied a even 2nd coat and still patchy all over. It’s too thick to work with and although you might think it’s a wonder one coat you will be wrong. I’ve painted all my previous house over the years with normal cheaper paint and had no problems other than the need to apply a few coats. This as given me a headache as to what to do next leave it and hope for dull days when it looks reasonable, use the little I have left or buy a thinner emulsion. It’s worn me out more. So dulux once is garbage and I’m a good painter but thought this although expensive would save me time and energy and it’s caused more work. Trust me don’t expect to do once especially ceilings and don’t stop keep going as it will dry in the tray forming a skin rendering it useless even within 5 mins off stopping and it won’t apply evenly being so thick and will make it patchy. Very disappointed.

Needed two coats of Once Pure Brilliant White to cover walls previously painted in Blossom White (a very very pale pink). Some areas needed retouching even after two coats. Barely managed to cover a white ceiling in one coat! Really annoying that Dulux can sell a product that totally fails to do what it's sold for. Seriously, I've used other one coat brands that actually work. This one was pulling back off the walls as the roller went over it - pink was showing through clearly after one coat. Might as well have used cheap white paint. Very poor coverage - ended up using almost two tins to paint two walls and a ceiling - about 20sq metres total. Looks good now but waste of time, waste of energy, waste of money.

Really good quality paint. One coat was even enough on fresh plaster. Just FYI, it does go on a bit patchy and as you're painting it looks bad, but when it dries it's perfect.

I was unsure of buying this colour because I couldn't get an accurate sense of the shade online as the colours can appear different depending on what website you look at. The colour shown here on Amazon is NOTHING like it is on my walls. It looks kind of pale purple here which is TOTALLY different to reality. Actually it is more of an extremely deep and dark raspberry colour that I absolutely love. It looks amazing next to some gold metallic wall detailing and some pastel green paintwork. But beware of the colour you are looking for. I would recommend getting a small tester pot if you are not sure because it really is quite dark.

Gorgeous colour. We painted our hall, landing and stairs and we needed 3 of these paint tins. It was only one coat like it says, we just had a lot of wall to cover as we have high ceilings. The paint is a bit chalky so it can mark quite easily when it’s dry, but fortunately the marks will disappear when you wipe it with a dry cloth. We’ve found that when we’ve touched a few places up (due to getting the some work done in the house, not through fault of the paint) the paint colour matches and you can’t tell where it’s been freshly painted.Amazon was the cheapest place for us to buy and I had it delivered on prime so it came the next day.

Very low odour and quick drying, but one coat is not quite enough to do the job. Also, the paint is really really thick and dries on the tray very quickly. It looks lovely on, though, and arrived very well packaged and protected. Would probably buy again.

One coat is perfect for feature walls. It is thick and creamy, providing a smooth coverage. The colour is stunning vivid.For best rests: ALWAYS STIR before use. Use in portions (a bit at a time) in a paint tray or bucket to preserve the main tin between uses. Also pre-prepare walls before painting - if plastered this should include washing with sugar soap solution then rinsing with warm water and allowing to dry (2 hours should do). If painting over patterned or textured paper and you don't want to remove the paper first, perhaps paint an undercoat of something else first.

die Farbe ist sehr zäh dickflüssig deckt aber hervorragend und die Farbe ist ein wunderschönes Mintder Geruch hält sich sehr in Grenzen und so wie man es von Dulux erwartet ist es eine wirklich tolle Wandfarbe ! Kaufe ich sicher bald wieder! Klare Kaufempfehlung
