Mindscope Twister Tracks Trax 360 Loop 13' (feet) of Neon Glow in The Dark Track with One LED Light-Up Emergency Vehicle Series Car

I purchased this track for my 4 year old as a Christmas gift. We love it (me included!) The cars work exactly as described. The light up and make the track appear to glow as they zoom around. I was a little iffy about spending the extra money on this set when I could buy the As Seen On TV set for $10 cheaper in the store. I wasn't sure if the loop would really make a difference. The loop is actually really cool and worthwhile to have. The pieces must be installed correctly in order for the cars to properly function on the loop, but it is really easy to put together. It just snaps into place. Several people have complained about the cars not working, but we have not had any issues with either of the vehicles. I read the reviews in advance and decided to show my son right away how to work the cars. He knows that he should never hold the car in one place while it is turned on. We also make sure to hold the car up off the ground when turning it on or off. I don't know if that really could hurt or help the car, but I figure that if we do our best to care for the set, it will last longer. We have had hours of fun with this track and hope to continue to use it for years to come. I wish they would have put a set like this out when I was a kid!

I have to say this is THE BEST TOY set i have seen in quite awhile! My 7yr old son asked for this for xmas, so i ordered this set, the add- on set (with bridge, extra pieces, track splitters & street signs) - which was totally worth it also - and the LED ball that you can use instead of or in addition to vehicles (the ball does not go around the 360 degree loop but it does work on the rest of the tracks as well as the floor so we have used that also)...anyways, this basic set by itself is the best toy ever! It is my son's favorite toy he got for xmas (over the $200+ electronics & remote cars etc etc) and for a very cheap price this thing is amazing! It came with a police car & fire truck, both LED cars with multiple settings, light up the neon glow in the dark, flexible tracks, leaving a glowing trail in the dark as they race around the track and through the 360 degree loop! You can bend & twist the tracks as the cars are racing, you can pull them apart & attach them elsewhere, the possibilities are endless and I have to say i enjoyed setting up all the different type tracks with my son! I was mesmerized watching these LED cars leave the glow trail in the dark for literally hours LOL! Even making a track without the loop and running the ball on the track was very cool! I would highly recommend this for ANY kid & for any age honestly! We had a blast with this for so long the day after xmas, we barely stopped for lunch OR dinner! I would recommend buying any of the add- on packs, additional tracks, or extra vehicles, it's all worth it! It is definitely MY favorite as well as my son's!

So far so good! Track connections are not good for a 4year old, adult assembly required. if the track connections arent snug, the car gets stuck, especially on the loop.4 AAA batteries died in less than a day, as they get low in power, the loop becomes impossible. If you dont have rechargables, invest in some. This will chew em up.Glowing is decent, obviously not as bright as the commercial.For the price, this works really well (on day 1). Hopefully its durable - will try to update this after time passes.Overdue update - this didn't stand the test of time at all. After roughly 2 weeks, the red ambulance car gears were seperated from the wheels, make it immobile and unusable. the tracks themselves lost the ability to glow after about 8wks. The sides of the tracks snap very easily when a 4year old accidentally (and painfully) stepped on them

Nephew loved this! Super awesome light up car track! I bought this for my nephew who is 3 for christmas. I was watching him one day and we saw the commercial and he said "I want that Tia can you get me it"? So duh no brainer christmas gift! I was so excited to hear him ask for something normally I guess & then give $$ in case they hate the gift (but they never complain). This was great I helped him put it together on christmas and the next time I visited him we played with it together and it was a lot of fun ( I am 37). We made his flying pterodactyl 's poop on all the cars just like the birds do in real life!! :) we laughed so hard I almost died, he is so cute & funny! This thing is so cool & lights up so well in the dark we played with it with the lights off too. It came with a police car & a fire truck which is exactly what he is into! Great deal works well, high quality toy!

This was my son's favorite Christmas present. He's been asking for one for months. He played with it every day. Today, 5 days after Christmas, the fire truck stopped working properly. The button won't stay down like it's supposed to, so the truck can't be used on the tracks. The loop was also disappointing. It worked sometimes, but other times the cars would get stuck and the other car would have to push it the rest of the way to finish the loop. For the price, I think they should've invested more money in these cars. It's a great idea, but poorly made product. I'm ordering a replacement, because it's still within the return period and my son says "Santa will fix it and send it back," so I have to try again for him. I hope the next track works better than this one, or I'll have one sad little boy.
