Purchased for my son for karate class
My sone had an existing guard that came with a pack of equipment for his karate class and it was very tight around the waist and a lot of the stitching was coming adrift.He's worn this one a few times and is much more happy with it. The construction seems sturdy and he says it is more comfortable than the old one was.

Fantastic peace of gear!Already on the first day of use during kickboxing sparring this saved me from a lot of pain. My partner threw about 3-4 kicks which missed and would have hit straight in the groin if it wasn't for this amazing bit of gear - I didn't feel anything!Size-wise I went for a Medium which was perfect for me. Some of my friends commented that it was a bit small, however... :PDespite this it is solidly built and remain as a permanent piece in my arsenal.

Broke after first use
The pouch came apart after first use. I was batting in the nets which means I had limited movement. Terrible and a waste of money - I would avoid
