Awesome air pump. I originally had 2 small units to cover my 120 gal tank. This unit does the job alone, works great! The only downside is the noise.. The upside is you can just turn the airflow down at bedtime to quiet the noise.. My Oscar and Plecho seem to be more energetic as their tank is well oxygenated...., Highly recommend!

Great product, but it is a tad bit louder than I expected. I eventually got used to the humming. Very convenient since it has four outlets, but requires only one plug in. It is like having 4 pumps, saving you room for 3 extra plug-ins for other devices.*UPDATE*Pump isn't quite what I expected after a couple of months. Does not produce the same amount of air as it did orginally. Checked hoses and blew in them to make sure there was no blockage, bubbles blew through just fine. Hooked up BOYU and still didn't work. Eventually tranfered my 2 Whisper Pumps (made for only 60 Gallons each, with 2 outlets per pump) from my 75 gallon tank to the 180 gallon, and they produced much stronger bubbles, no problems, and not quite as loud.

I bought this, as the description said its quiet, and everything, which it was for the first week of use. It now makes a buzzing noise, and a loud vibration sound. I have my tanks in my bedroom, so the noise wasn't acceptable to hear when trying to sleep. I would not recommend this air pump.

Wow, this air pump is BIG and Loud! If you are using this near an entertainment room or bedroom, I would not recommend it. On the plus side it is powerful and does put out lots of air, the variable control is good, look solidly made and the cost is reasonable. Over all a good value pump if you can live with the size and sound.

It works awesome I love the dial so you can keep the flow fast or slow. The only thing is it can be a little loud but you get used to it.

This pump is very powerful and produce lots of bubbles in my aquarium. This was a good deal overall and I would recommend this item for those folk who are looking for a good product at a reasonable price. The item was delivered very fast.

I bought this pump (and this is the 2nd pump, same model) on July 14, 2013. I was a replacement as the first pump died within a few months. And This morning, again, No air for my fish!!! I accepted the noise o fit, and the size, in trade for the air output. But these are obviously inferior products. The box says it's "long Lasting" and "reliable", and while these are subjective terms; I argue that long lasting is not 8 months! Maybe for a Gobstopper, but I expected more for the price I paid (twice)!! My opinion is that this is not a reliable pump, and Unless you enjoy repeatedly buying air pumps for your fish tank; then DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!

Big and very loud! I guess I would not purchase it again. It is the size of half a football.
