This product is very nice; however, I was not able to use it as I planned. I am a college student that was looking to install a dry erase board in my apartment so that I would have more space to work. I ordered this product approximately a month before finals, but because it was damaged I had to return the erase board and wait for the company to ship a new one. The original board had a black streak across the middle of the board and a substantial dent on the right corner of the board. I was extremely frustrated and disappointed when I couldn't use this dry erase board to study for finals. The company, Shoplet, was very helpful and courteous when it came to sending a new dry erase board. When the new dry erase board came, I was impressed because it is a nice, clean board that appears to be sturdy. I have not had a chance to use the board extensively, but it seems to be worth the money. Had the company used a little more protective material to ship this product I would have given this product four or five stars, but because I had to go through the trouble of returning the original board, I only gave it three stars. For reference, Shoplet paid the shipping and handling to have the board returned.

The white board seems to be of good quality -- it writes and erases cleanly using Expo markers, and heavy card stock with weak magnetic tape on the back sticks firmly, even through multiple layers of paper. You can't beat the price either, compared to similar products at retail stores. Unfortunately, the manufacturer's packaging is extremely poor and the board is very much unprotected inside a thin cardboard covering. As a result, all 3 shipping attempts to me arrived with a board that was bashed in and broken in the front, the back, and a corner, respectively. I learned that this is an ongoing problem with this product, so I ended up picking up the board myself from a distribution warehouse across town...in perfect condition! I imagine the manufacturer is not very motivated to improve the packaging, because each damaged board results in the shipping company paying for it...so the more damage the better!

I had purchased a couple of different white boards prior to this one. This board is the best so far. Unlike another one I bought for a similar price, this board is very sturdy, flat and well-constructed. Unlike other reviews on this product, the board that I received has two screw holes at each of the four corners that are in turn disguised by plastic covers. This makes the board stay in place on the wall without moving. I used one sheetrock screw for each corner, for a total of four screws, and the board has been stuck to my wall for well over 6 months without any sign of going anywhere. As far as the functionality goes, the magnetic surface has been performing flawlessly with all the magnets sticking perfectly, there have been no scratches so far. Dry erase markers are easily erased without any damage or residue. I am very happy with this product and recommend to anyone that cannot afford the bigger sizes. Honestly, unless you are a teacher that has more than five students at a time, the size of this board should be sufficient. If not, it is cheaper to purchase two of these rather than one that is twice the size.

this board seems sturdy and is light. it was easy to install (once i fixed it.) took me 10 mins start to finish (includes clean up from drilling 8 holes in my walls - once i fixed it.) if i wasn't so busy and in a rush to do this, i would of done the brackets to install vs. hard securing to the wall by screwing it in the corners... why? in case i need to take board off and paint my walls. it seems easier to use the brackets... but not a major issue.... MY ISSUE -- when i was trying to screw the board in at the corners, parts of the board were not cut properly, so the screws would hit the board and bend it in the corners and one corner was completely blocked. i had to cut it out so i could put my screws in... ANY PERSON WITH AN IQ OF 10 could see a screw wasn't going in there, so why not fix it before you ship it??? POOR QUALITY CONTROL - thus my 3 stars.

This is a really nice well made dry erase board. It came with a pretty simple mounting system which conceals the mounting screws. There was little to no assembly other than snapping the corner clips on after mounting. The only other item to assemble was to slide the bottom tray into place.The writing surface is smooth and easy to write on and erase. Magnets hold to it well.Time will tell if the surface warps or delaminates. If it does I wouldn't be terribly surprised because I have it mounted in my workshop. It is heated but no air conditioned and WI summers can get pretty humid. I'm hoping it won't be a problem but if it is I will update this review. I likely will not reduce the rating though, just note the issue, because this is a pretty out of the ordinary installation.One thing to note is that the tray at the bottom is much smaller than the one pictured. Not a problem for my use but something to keep in mind if you need a tray the full width of the one pictured.

After reading some of the reviews it took me a couple of weeks to finally decide to take a chance & order this. It actually came overnight! Must be the Fastest shipping in the East!! I couldn't believe it when I opened the door & it was here already. It's in perfect condition, seems sturdy and I am thinking of ordering the next size up, 36x48. For the price of them both, you can't beat it! Only paid $45ish for this one & the bigger one is $88ish, when you compare that to the $200-$300 plus some of these others want for the same size, this is a steal! Haven't had a chance to see if it leaves phantom shadows, but so far so god! Very happy customer. Update: 11/18/13, We LOVE this board! I have been using it to post our weekly schedule for home school. I change it every week and have seen no shadows from previous writing, it erases cleanly every time. We use "BridgePort" twin dry erase markers. Ours has no sign of warping & it's not mounted. I would definitely recommend this for the price!
