Lasts way longer than the original charger did back then. Changing it was a breeze, 2 screws and a little connector and you're good to go. Lithium has gotten cheaper so you can get this bigger battery for a good price compared to back when the wii u came out. It even comes with the little precision screwdriver if you dont have your own set

Installation was pretty easy and it fit just fine. I can finally get a few hours of gameplay without having to charge. I recommend it if your OEM battery can't hold a charge anymore.

Worked to replace old battery. Beware it can be plugged in backwards and then will not charge. I swapped it around and it worked.

So I had the official Nintendo extended battery in my Wii U pad since around when Xenoblade Chronicles came out. That would last like 7 hours playing that game back then. Fast forward to recently and the gamepad would last a little over an hour playing simple things like DS virtual console games before dying. To be fair it’s been on the charging dock 24/7 for a decade plus so it was a matter of time before the battery degraded.I was looking for a solution since an hour is outrageous. I saw this and read the reviews. I figured I couldn’t do worse right? Sucks not having the official battery but mine is basically dead anyway so why not? Wow am I impressed.It tells you to use it until it dies but mine already came depleted. I charged it up all the way and the next day I tested it out. I played the same game I’ve been playing with the old battery. I played almost 5 hours and when I check battery life, it still read a full 4 bars! I’m aware it’s only been a few days or so but that’s mighty impressive. I have never seen it go below 4 bars ever.This solved my issue immediately. I can’t believe how well it performs. Yes the plug is hard to insert but just put a little force. You’ll be fine. It did not create a bulge in the back on mine as I’ve read as well. If you’re used to the regular battery it will make the gamepad heavier, but I like my controllers with a little heft.Super recommend. Don’t deal with a dead or dying battery. Get that swapped out for this asap. Couldn’t be easier.

Works great! Easy to install! Make sure the connector is all the way in - it takes a little bit of force. If the rated capacity is true, it's over 4 times more than the stock battery.

The connector is not compatible with the WUP-010 at least. It won't fit. If you are going to advertise this as compatible, you should make sure it actually fits. This does not work with the Wii U.Update: I managed to get the connector to fit but it's missing the plastic molded guide rails on the back which means it sits too low if you don't hold it up a bit while you are inserting it and won't go in at that position. The battery itself works great, it lasts a long time. Because the connector is not intuitive, I can't give this 5 stars.

My package came long before the expected date,which is highly appreciated!The delivery was great and everything was neatly packaged.I followed instructions and charged the battery for about an hr and a few odd minutes before I finally turned on the Wii U. I started the console at 3 PM, the bar is still at Max at 11 54 PM. I was worried about getting a faulty battery that never works like most people searching for a replacement battery, but I am so glad I gave PicklePower company a chance.I have a lot of old games I spent hrs on,including the jrpgs that aren't ported to the Switch yet. This battery is perfect for people with games they can spend hrs on,where there's worlds to explore,such as Xenoblade Chronicles X,BoTW,etc.I was going to intitially buy the orange battery from this company,but I reccomend just paying out a few more dollars just in case it doesn't last as long off a charge. Plus, you get a screwdriver kit if you don't already have one!I am happy with my purchase and thank this company for bringing back some of my favorite games and giving me the opportunity to get some e-shop games before the shop goes away forever. I will recommend this to anyone asking to find a good Wii U battery replacement for a fine price. This is the real deal!

Right after I installed the battery, the controller turned on. I then plugged the thing in and walked away,. The orange light was flashing, which I thought was weird, but I didn't think anything of it. Lo and behold, when I come back the controller won't turn on unless I plug it in. When I do, the system can't see the battery is there at all and is completely bypassing it. Quality control is clearly hit of miss here.
