My Superhero Mini-Journal (Dover Little Activity Books: Fantasy)

Heads up - they're not kidding when they say "mini-journal". This thing will fit in the palm of your hand and at first I was a bit mad at myself for missing that in the description - then I opened it up. It's AWESOME. Easy to read and full of creative little activities. No stickers, which is actually a bonus for me because I like it when my kiddo has to make her own stuff rather than just fill up the pages with stickers. I bought it as a stocking-stuffer but it would be good for having in the car or in your purse / backpack for outings where you have to entertain the kids.

This book one looked great, BUT I wasn't expecting it to be SO small (I overlooked the details of the product dimensions and only viewed the Look Inside). Because the book is so small and the binding is so tight, it's difficult to get the book to lay flat for my son to do them independently - I have to hold the book open for him, which defeats some of the purpose.

Teeny tiny small worthless book with similar ones sold for $0.50 at dollar store. My kid literally said he hated it 🤷🏻‍♂️He actually lives reading

I only got it because I needed a dollars worth of something to get free shipping and this is the cheapest thing I could find so i gave it to my son it’s not as small as everyone was saying but it’s not big and it kept my son entertained he loved it so I would recommend it

I got these for my grandson's 1st grade class - the kids are learning the value of $$$ and they earn a certain amount each week by completing assigned tasks...at the end of the week, they can "purchase" an item in the class "store". The kids are crazy over these little books and not only do they learn to earn them, they practice reading, art, printing and it inspires creative thinking!
