I give my dogs this generic Claritin daily, and it’s made a huge difference. Their eyes are clearer, no more constant itching, and way fewer allergy symptoms overall. It’s a simple solution that really works, definitely a must for seasonal allergy flare-ups!

Product is priced appropriately and for the amount of OTC medication you get, this is a logistically-wise product purchase.

Loratadine or Claritin is very Slow Acting. It takes several hours to work. If you think it works faster, then read up on it. What you're experiencing is the "Placebo Effect".Do not take 2 or 3 times the recommended amount, thinking that will help. It won't. It will raise your blood pressure. What you need to do, is take this once a day, as recommended. Then, if you have a sudden sneezing fit or problem with allergies, take One 10mg Cetirizine tablet. They're cheap and you can get a small bottle to keep on hand. The reason Cetirizine (Zyrtec) will help you, is that it works differently and works IMMEDIATELY on allergies. When I had taken Zyrtec for years and it had stopped working for me, an immunologist told me to try this. Take the Loratadine tablet daily and the Cetirizine only when needed.I do recommend this, but again for me, it worked best if I used it with the Cetirizine when needed.
