A low-cost introduction to magnetic therapy, though I found other solutions more helpful
I knew that for the incipient (well, probably already arrived, but just making itself known) arthritis in my hands, magnetism worked better than copper for me. I had been wearing hematite bracelets, which did at least a partial job of pain relief. I purchased these gloves hoping that they would do a more thorough job, as the placement of the magnets is closer to the area in which I am experiencing discomfort than the bracelets can be. However, I was disappointed. I have no way of knowing what the Gauss rating for the hematite bracelets is, but at a guess it is significantly higher than that for the magnets in these gloves.I also dislike the fact that the ends of the fingers are not finished. As these gloves must be hand-washed, that's probably not significant, but will still mean that the gloves lose material from the unfinished ends. This being said, I did not give them a lower rating because people are all different. These may work very well for someone else. If you are searching for arthritis-pain relief, these are certainly a low-cost exploration of the effectiveness of magnets. Hematite bracelets are actually cheaper, though you must be certain to search for "genuine magnetic hematite bracelet."

Magnet gloves
I read that the gloves had magnets , the black dots are suppose to be magnets, but they are NOT at all magnetic. I ordered these gloves specifically for the effect magnets, as I KNOW after wearing a magnet bracelet it helped the pain in my fingers, but I lost the bracelet after wearing it for 3 years non stop. So I decided to try the gloves. After a few days, there was no difference ( as it was with bracelet ) so I tested the magnetic part of the glove, ( all the dots) which gives you the impression of lots of magnets, however it failed the test. Even though I put another magnet over the dots, and then inside the glove, there was no magnetic grab. I had purchased a more heavy duty magnetic glove as well, and when I tested it, WOW, it grabbed immediately... So disappointed in this gloves, with all the dots which is more for decoration not effective at all.

Highly Recommended,, read on
after reading all the comments,, good and bad,, I bought a pair. I have arthritis and neuropathy in my hands. I love these! yes, they do not have real "magnets", the material seems to be liguified then dotted on in strategic places. this process only makes it more stable and you dont have to worry about the "magnets" coming off when you wash them, or through wear. But I can assure anyone they do WORK!!! the hematite( magnetic) material is safe to use, homepathic, and since the dots are so small. do NOT attract all metal objects to your hands, ( as if they were strong magnets!! ) I can not imagine wearing real "magnets" and trying to eat or cook, or any activity requirin use of metal objects. but when my hands are hurting or I have those sharp intense shooting nerve pains ( anyone who has neuropathy knows what I mean ) these gloves will calm those pains in about 15 min or less. And for those achy dull throbbing arthritis days, the compression combined with the magnetic dots ease my pain and I can use my hands normally. they wash easy and do not lose shape or effectivness. I HIGHLY recommend these for hand pains rather than taking drugs and parrafin dips and other useless "remedies" hyped up.

I like the support of this glove although it seems to be stretching a little. The gloves do help relieve the pain in my hands somewhat when I do any repetitive things. If I forget to put them on and start typing or whatever, my hands start to ache right away. After putting on the gloves, the pain subsides some. I don't see where the magnets do anything, but I may be wrong. I am not a Doctor.I did misplace one of the gloves and bought an extra set as they did help some where the ones I have previously bought in the stores didn't.For the price, it is worth giving them a try. I will definitely replace them when they wear out.

They are comfortable, attractive
These gloves are marveles . They are comfortable , attractive , good quality , & I wear them all day, every day while cooking , cleaning etc. When working with food & need rubber gloves no problem.. They fit smoothly & keep the gloves dry longer so I don't have to change to another pair after they got pretty soaked. Most times they dry nicely in a few minutes . wash beautifully & because I work with markers a lot I tend to get a few marks on them so I soak them in water with little bleach I have the medium which seems to be average.. I have several pairs of different styles & colors but these are my favorites .I strongly advise buying them. You won't be sorry because on top of every thing else , they do the job well !! Price is good so you can afford a couple pairs. Fondly, Mamma-t =============

Tried them, wouldn't buy them again
Only a few reviews to go on, but cheap and didn't have reviews where they fell apart. The reviewer who said the "magnets" are just rubber paint is correct. I even tried a magnet over them to see if any magnetic qualities. None. But, I didn't buy them for magnets, just the look. They do compress some, which is a help to an arthritic thumb and forefinger. The nude color makes them a little less noticable. Almost feel like I've got henna tattoos on my hands.I'll use them until they fall apart. Wonder how long that'll be?
