Fun to watch
I have a standard downspout coming from my gutter, but when it rained the area around the downspout flooded. The solution was to get another downspout, but I decided on a rain chain instead. I like watching the rain come down the chain--much more interesting than the standard downspout, and solves the problem of too much water accumulating around the downspout. (I tried to attach a video, but it said it was an "unsupported file type."

Beautiful Copper Rain Chain!
Exactly as advertised and arrived quickly! I hung it from the guttering on my front porch and I love the way it sets everything off. It has yet to rain, but can hardly wait to see it work.

Rain chain looks good, works well, not adjustable length
I have gutters all around around my house but have had and ongoing problem with a drip near my front door. I have a constant drip at a seam despite having paid experts time and again to fix it. I hung this graduated rain chain when it was raining and was able to place it precisely at the drip source. It is attractive and effective. My only reason for not giving it 5 stars is that the length of the chain in too long for my area and it is not adjustable. If it were adjustable without using chain cutters, it would rate the full five.

Rain chain
I was not real happy with this purchase. The copper rain chain is much much thinner than I expected as a result. It blows in the wind, and I had to make type of arrangements to anchor it at the bottom so it wouldn't be against the house I've only had it for about six months and I put it away for the winter, but I don't think this is going to last long time

too long, no way to shorten, photo's not accurate of wire
I am so disappointed, I've wanted a rain chain for so long that when this arrived I immediately got out the ladder to hang it. You just need a hook/nail to hang it, no problem there. It's gorgeous and would have looked great in the corner which I can see from inside the house and yet be functional as this area is where water pours off the roof during rain. But It is way too long, I would have never believed my roof was so low because I didn't take into account the slope of it in the corner.I also got the bowl to hang under it. About 5 cups would need to be removed as they just lay on the ground, and another 2-3 will have to come off to accommodate the bowl. The problem is, I can find no way of shortening it or removing any of the cups.it seems like squeezing the wire together so it pops out of the holes on the cups would be the obvious, but that doesn't work. In the sellers pictures, where this wire exits the cups on both sides it shows the ends as untouched. But on mine, where this wire exits the cup is a thicker, rounded knob type edge. The knobby end is wider than the hole it came through, so you can't just push the wire back inside the cup to remove that cup.I have pushed, squished, examined, jiggled, etc. trying to get that wire out of that cup to no avail. I will write the seller and see if there's a way to do it but as of now, this is unusable where I intended to use it for it's intended use. If I can't find a way to shorten it, I can always hang it high in a tree for decorative purposes as it is pretty.
