I can read my small print Bible easily now and it will be great when I am appliquéing a quilt block. The light makes a big difference. The light on my old neck magnifier no longer worked so I had to rely on my Ott task lamp which is also good but this is better for seeing details.

This light /magnifier combination is exactly what I needed for doing needlepoint in the evenings. I hadn't been sure if it would stay in place propped against my chest, but the feet on it stabilize it perfectly. The light is bright enough for work but not distracting to my family while watching TV. Unlike others who have commented, the insert high-magnification is not in the way for me during use. I hope the batteries will last a while, but AAA batteries are easy to get. I'm very glad I bought this! Thank you to Ottlite.

I really like this item. I needed a light to help when doing crossstitch. OTT is a wonderful brand and I own several of their products. The magnifying was an added bonus. There is a little bit of a learning curve to get it adjusted to the right length but once you find it you are good to go.

Bright, stays in place, nice larger zoom. Adjustable around neck. Great for my embroidery!

For me: not enough magnification, not enough light, not big enough. I need it for hand sewing. It also was not the right shape to fit against my body.

This magnifying light is perfect for my x-stitch projects! It is adjustable and the magnification and light are just right! I wish that I had found this earlier!

Clean, clear lens. Light could be brighter, but it works.

Doesn’t fit as a work light. I have to hold it. The light is not bright at all. It’s basically useless for knitting or jewelry making unless you hold it in one hand.
