Over priced.
This is an amazing set, however don’t spend over the odds for it when you can still get it on the official Lego website for £370 with free delivery.

Harry potter lego
I am happy with my purchase the only reason for the four stars on value for money and the overall was because the box was damaged and I keep the boxes...so this was a big disappointment to me as it wasn't just a small amount of damage and it was a new sealed purchase

very poor indeed
item is way overpriced but ordered it as i needed it quickly, arrived in amazon box, actual state of the lego box was very poor and it had been opened as the seals had been messed with, shocking for a new product. swiftly returned.

Welcome, Harry, to Diagon Alley
When this was first announced, I debated over it for a little while. I have recently got back into Lego, as a way to remember an old boyfriend and I have so far completed theFriends Central Perk,Simpsons House andSimpsons Kwik E Mart. This is eye wateringly expensive but it is definitely worth it.This comes in a massive box and has 5544 pieces in total, so is the biggest set I've done to date. There are also 14 mini figures, and a special display stand for Hagrid and Harry. (So essentially you get two Harries.) I already had Hagrid from aprevious set, and was disappointed to see that some of the characters (Hermione) looked a bit grumpy, much like Rachel in the Friends set. There are four sizeable instruction booklets and some sheets of stickers. Most of the sets are fairly straightforward, although there were a few tantrum tears, particularly around the roofs and the very last building, Weasley's Wizard Wheezes. But I managed it in the end.Thankfully, the buildings are all different colours, as it can get very monotonous, when you have all the same colour bricks. All the pieces fitted together well, and I wasn't missing any pieces - although I nearly lost a sticker, by throwing out the sheet before I had finished with it!The characters include four brand new Lego figures who I don't think feature in any other set. These are Gilderoy Lockhart (including copies of his book), Florean Fortescue, Lucius and Draco Malfoy. You do get one Harry in uniform, and one Harry out of uniform, and Hagrid's outfit is slightly different to the one shown in the Beauxbatons' carriage set.Once built, this looks fantastic. All four buildings join easily together in a row, or you can put two back to back, as shown in the video. Unfortunately, if you put two of them back to back, you will risk not seeing inside the shops. For display purposes, I will be keeping these in a row, as I feel that it displays better.I still think the cost is quite high, especially if kids are after this. It's a lot of money to spend, although I'm sure kids will get a lot of play time out of it. As an adult, it's a beautifully eye catching display piece, I just now don't want anyone to touch it for fear of breaking it. And if I have to reattach the windows surrounding the robotic Weasley twin on the outside of their building one more time, I'm going to scream.

This could be magic
Before we start, let me say I have never read a potter book, nor seen any of the movies, but I do love Lego. frist of all this comes in a huge box, which includes 4 instruction manuals, and way too many stickers for my liking. We get 15 mini figures, plus a nice a nice surprise, which I won't spoil. the build itself is on 4 base boards, seldom seen in sets these days, and this means your set could theoretically be split should you choose to do so,or not have space to display what is quite a lengthy build. Some nice play features included, like pull out stairs and removable items and pieces. If you are a fan of the Potter then I'd say you would be very happy. Currently this is cheaper via the lego website, but price aside, it is a great looking set
