I'm glad I watched the You Tube on gold gilding. Gave me lots of ideas. Now that my gold has arrived, I can see why it is important to have these gloves. Very good quality from perhaps the best gold company. If you spend the money to do gold, spend a little more and get these gloves. Do not handle gold sheets with your hands or you will end up with flakes!

these are decent quality, but they're more like white cotton church gloves in their weight, than the delicate white cotton gloves you need for silver and gold leaf application. They fit snugly but they're more in control of you than you are of them… not much stretch, so your fingers don't feel very nimble. They're just too heavy basically..

Pic is left hand with glove over picture I'm currently gilding that I made for a friend. I feel I'm gilding the leaf with confidence now. I thought I could complete the task without gloves and I really stuffed up with that idea, so I immediately bought these two pair of gloves from Barnabas Blatt Gold. What is amazing is out of the bag, they fit both me and Ed. His hands are twice the size of mine, but the gloves had just enough give to allow for the size of his whammers. That said, I gave it a 4-star because mine are just slightly too big as I have small-ish hands and the fingers are about 1/4" / 0.635 cm too long, but since the ends are sort of tucked, it's okay. Overall, I'll definitely buy everything to do with leafing from now on through Barnabas Blatt!

I must admit I didn't buy these for gold leafing work. I had tried on a friend's pair and found then to be be very comfy. I have a skin condition which requires covering my hands most of the time and these gloves are perfect for that.

Just what I was looking for. Excellent quality.

Too small even for a medium sized man’s hand. Also, the stitching in the fingertips make them difficult to use for gilding.

The fingers were bulky at the tip and short in length for me (I do have slightly long fingers). The bulky tip made it hard to handle the gold leaf, so I didn't use them. Not worth the price (even though it was inexpensive).

I am very happy with the purchase, I really like. Thank you..
