Used same Sta-Kool years ago, was more expensive; -saw 5 gal. advertised on Amazon from this Pro-Solutions for lower super special price of $59.99, w/only 1 ship-fee of $25. for all 7 ordered, to re-coat my roof again. Living in High Desert of Antelope Valley where temps get to 110 degrees, elastomeric reflective coating makes home at least 10 degrees cooler, have to run cooler less, and it also for rare but more frequent rain events happening protects from leaks. - God bless everyone, families and pets in the Name of Jesus ! - Respectfully, Vera

I was reluctant to do this on my own but was surprised. I pressure washed a rolled roofing roof and let it dry for a few days. I bought a huge squeegee and stiff slim broom from Lowes. (can send links if you want). I then poured a large amount, about 1/3 the container, starting at a far corner. I used the squeegee to pull the mix all around and them broomed it in so it soaked through the rough texture of the roofing. Easy to spread and easy to broom. I just kept pouring, spreading and brooming it til I ran out of mixture. I put down 5 buckets of mix and now ordered 3 more to finish up a 1400sqft roof. If applied to a smooth roof this would have been plenty. Can send links and pics if interested.

This works great. Took 3 coats of this roof paint to seal it up and I'm very pleased

I think I bought this 5 years ago it's still reflecting the sun blocking the water and still intact no cracks very good stuff

This product has excellent coverage on smooth metal roofs. I'm confident the bright white color will reflect some of the brutal New Mexico sun, making it easier to keep things cooler inside. Mine was applied about eight months ago and so far, so good.It's important to realize how this product works. Make sure you're applying it correctly to the correct type of roof material. If the roof has significant damage, repair that before applying this product. If the roof is dirty (dust or moss), clean it and let it dry before applying this. While the white color will help reflect the sun, that won't be enough to keep a house cool if it has an insignificant air conditioner. I don't think this product will provide any help when it comes to keeping a house warmer in the winter.

I bought this product to paint the roof of my 12' x 16' aluminum outside building. The roof did not leak but had turned dark after years between painting it with white coating. I washed the surface with bleach water and let it dry and then I put on the first coat. It seemed to go on thin but I wasn't concerned since I planned to use at least two coats. I used a 3/4 nap roller and it was a little difficult to get into the ridges where the panels overlap. It was a cool morning that turned into a hot day but then rain clouds approached and I covered the roof with a tarp. Two days later, I applied a second coat a little thicker in the morning before it got too hot. It did not take an hour to complete the second coat on this small 12 x 16 building. I will say that it's best not to look directly at the roof once the sun gets over it as it is so bright. It should not rain on my second coat for about 30 hours, so I hope it won't be affected, but I have half the 5 gallon bucket left over so if it looks like it needs a third coat, then I'll take another hour and apply it. The price was excellent as I was considering having it covered with plywood and shingles which could have cost over $1,800. I expect it will cool the interior of the building, but that wasn't my main concern. The roof looks great.

Did my 80ft long mobile home with this stuff. It's not bad but goes on thinner than regular wall paint. It's seems to be doing ok. Just make sure you have plenty of paint rollers and do two coats. Next time I will buy Henry's heard it's better but again this isn't bad and it did help make my home cooler
