I thought about adding surround speakers to my Master Bedroom setup for almost a year. Our 3.1 setup just wasn't cutting it. I finally pulled the trigger yesterday and, in hindsight, I should have done it a year ago. The improvement in the overall sound experience for both music and video is substantial. With our Amazon Prime subscription, the product was delivered the same day as ordered.Installation - was about as easy as it gets. It only took about 15-20 minutes overall and most of that time was moving furniture and pulling the wires. The pairing of the transmitter and receiver was automatic. The box cam with all needed accessories, including table stands for vertical alignment, which was perfect for where I was placing the units. Very simple connections.Quality - Time will tell. The construction seems ok and I have each unit plugged into surge protection. Hopefully, that will help with longevity. The transmitter only has spring connectors for the speaker wires. I would have preferred banana connectors that I use for all my speaker connections.Sound - One of the reasons for my hesitation in buying this item was the reviews mentioning occasional popping noises. During my audio calibration, I took a tip from another review that said to turn the volume knob to "High" and let the receiver handle the level. It worked well. The volume level is about perfect and, after about 6 hours of testing, there have been no pops or audio dropouts. I'm very pleased with the sound performance.Price - I think it's a little too pricey at $189.99. I'd have bought sooner if it were in the $89-$99 range. But, Since it seems to be the best product of its kind (at the moment), I don't begrudge the business strategy.Overall - Very pleased so far and giving 5 stars. If anything changes I'll update.John

This combination of Wired transmitter and Wireless receiver unit (both units needs to be powered) works like a charm. The transmitter and the receiver does not even have to be in the direct line of sight for this to work. In my case, the receiver is hidden away between the recliners in an open empty space with no obstructions between the transmitter and the receiver and works like a charm. The best part is that the receiver comes with an in-built amplifier and a subwoofer port, which is great. I have my 2 Yamaha Surround Speakers hooked up to the powered receiver via wired connection and the Audio is crisp with zero lag. You can play with the volume/amplifier knob at the back of the receiver until the volume in your surround speakers is at the same decibels (db) as that of your wired Center, Front Left and Front Right speakers that are connected to your audio receiver head unit.I am sure I can rig a few more surround speakers to this wireless receiver unit and it should not have any performance issues. There is a setting on my Yamaha receiver head unit to accommodate additional speakers, I will just have to make sure I select that option if I hook up more speakers to this wireless receiver unit.I would highly recommend this product to anyone trying to avoid running wired connection from the audio receiver head unit to the surround speaker sets.

Pros,1. Has banana plug jacks for your sorround speakers which make them easy to install.2. Good range with a 5.2 and a 5.8 Ghz frequency bands that doesn't interfere with other devices.3. Once setup the sound quality is good and no popping like some people may comment(see below for cons).4. Has adjustable volume for the speakers.5. It includes a subwoofer out(see below for cons).6. Setup was OK.7. Has included stands for the receivers and both units can be wall mounted.Cons,1. Even though it's rated at 100 feet distance you still have to have both units in visible sight of each other for a clean hookup. This is why a lot people are complaining about no signal and issues like popping.2. The banana plugs I used don't go in the whole way. Mine maybe too long for this unit and I just order a new banana plug wireless kit.3. I have my volume up nearly the whole way. I believe it goes back to the banana plugs and possibly me using older cables both soon to be replaced.4. With this unit I'd advise to either use it for back speakers or for your subwoofer, not both. The issue is both the speakers and the subwoofer run off the same frequency so it sounds terrible if you use both. I don't recommend this as a stand alone wireless subwoofer unit. There more inexpensive model that'll work far better. This is best used for back speakers.All in all I'm very happy because now I don't have to step over wires, my back speakers are out of the way and are also easier to place. Once I get the new banana plug wire kit I'll update this review. I believe that should fix the volume issue.Update, the newer banana plugs and newer speaker wire did the trick. I'd advise at least using good speaker wire for the best possible signal the receivers.

I had read all the reviews and was prepared to deal with the occasional pops and audio issues described by some of the other users. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the receiver and transmitter not only paired quickly and seamlessly, but the audio quality has been excellent with none of the pops and challenges of others. The set up is an ideal solution in the large room in which it is used which is part of a converted airplane hanger. These are powering a pair of JBL Commercial Series 60 pendant speakers that are providing the overhead channels in a Dolby ATMOS system. THE RECEIVER PROVIDES MORE THAN ENOUGH POWER TO DRIVE THE SPEAKERS IN THIS APPLICATION AND HAS SAVED ME HOURS OF RUNNING DOZENS OF FEET OF CONDUIT AND SPEAKER WIRE. THE RECEIVER AND POWER SUPPLY REST ON TOP OF A WIDE BEAM AT THE TOP OF THE HANGER AND IS SECURED WITH ZIP TIES. I AM EXTREMELY HAPPY WITH HOW THIS HAS SIMPLIFIED MY SET UP. THE QUALITY OF THE PERFORMANCE HAS EXCEEDED MY EXPECTATIONS so I ordered a second receiver and transmitter setup to get rid of the long run of wiring for my rear channel surround speakers.
