Use this brush in the same way you would use a round styling brush. To add height at the crown, hold the brush near the scalp, blow dry with the heat of the dryer. Allow the hair to cool, then gently brush through. It helps to section the hair. I use Velcro rollers to hold the hair while I finish drying my whole head.

can you tell me the diameter with and without the bristles, please?

It is slightly more than an inch and a half w/o the bristles, and about 2 and a half inches with the bristles.

The barrel is not square or round. It’s a combination of both. Best brush I’ve ever had. My sister says the same!

How do I know which size do use? I have shoulderlength very very fine here. Really need to find something that will give my bangs a lift.

This brush will definitely help you with that! I have this size for bangs and a larger one for my long hair. This brush is really good. I love them!
