Life saving Kitten Formula! Cannot recommend this enough!
We had found a very sick kitten outside who was still nursing and very young who was in danger of losing her eye and worse. The Pet AG is what the emergency vet gave us to hold us over after treatment and she drank it up with no diarrhea or ill effects. We tried one other brand of KMR and it made our kitten sick with diarrhea.Pet AG has a great formula that’s easy to reconstitute. It’s a 2 to 1 ratio meaning 2 parts water to one part powdered formula for example 2 tablespoons of water (30ml) to 1 tablespoon of formula powder (15ml) or any quantity/volume you’d like to make like 2 teaspoons (10ml) to 1 teaspoon (5ml) etc. We used either a fork or small battery powdered milk frother to mix in. The milk frother worked best to get a nice smooth consistency without lumps/clumps but you can’t over do it or too much air will incorporate and give the kittens colic. Best to use it and let it rest to let any air bubbles rise and give it a quick stir with a fork since it tend to settle quickly.Once reconstituted, the milk is refrigerator stable for 24 hours so don’t make more than you need or you’ll be throwing a bunch out. Once the powder container is open it should also remain in the refrigerator to preserve freshness and stability. It also comes in ready to use liquid formula you can warm up slightly. My kitty liked about 100-105 degrees Fahrenheit for her temp but don’t go too warm. Wrist test the formula like baby formula or scan it with a temp gun. They’ll outgrow this and move on to PetAG 2nd Step that you can slowly incorporate kitten pate into until they wean off completely.Even our older cats loved this and would clean up her left overs in the milk bowl once she was old enough to wean off the syringe and nipples. This formula saved our now adopted kitten and I can’t sing its praises enough.Accept no substitutions on the Pet AG KMR!

Excellent for cats of all ages and sizes if sick
First off, I ordered this to nurse a baby bunny back to health. My one cat kind of scalped the baby bunny near his hind leg. He wasn't too interested in the whole scene but, we were able to get some mother cat milk jazz into "Jim," which we named said bunny. He was doing super well and then, boom, he died. Well, turned out my one cat, not the one who murdered Jim, but another, got pretty sick. About a month ago, he pulled out one of his toenails and the region became infected. We were treating him outwardly but not inwardly. I ended up getting some natural antibiotics here on Amazon. He seemed to be doing OK but suddenly was at death's door. Having worked in an animal hospital a thousand years ago, I was able to use some of the skills. I used this after all in order to get some liquids, fat and vitamins into the cat. This item, in conjunction with an animal nursing kit, the above-mentioned natural antibiotics, Benadyne, (spelling?), applied to the paw and baby food, saved the cat's life. We looked at the directions to see if grown cats could have this and it had instructions for cats that are 3 plus pounds. Plus, because it is NOT cow's milk, which is horrible for cats, contrary to popular belief, I felt confident in giving him some. He loved it and lapped it up wildly. I would recommend having some of this on hand for any cat owner just in case of sickness. It will not harm the cat and, since it's, in essence, powdered mama cat milk, it is good for the animal. Especially compared to that taboo cow milk I mentioned earlier, lol. Good price too and one can chose from different sizes, which is a bonus. I'm going to give Sly, the cat in question, some later, as it has been a while. He lost a bit of weight and this has the fat he needs and other goodies too. We are now just down to treating the paw with the stuff I can't spell, since his antibiotic run is over. I hope this long and boring review helps someone.

Quality formula
Got this to foster my 2 wk old kittens who lost their mom. They are thriving and putting on weight. I used the liquid formula before and that worked but the powder is more convenient.

Success with raising two orphaned newborns
Did what it was supposed to. Just a shame it’s so pricey.

Saved 2 Baby's Lives
Found 3 newborn kittens at our back door. Kept them in a box waiting for the mother to come. After 3 days, one died and the other two were near death, skin and bones and frozen. I quickly brought them into the house, warmed them next to me and only had half-and-half to try to give them something. Hubs brought home a can of KMR liquid and a baby bottle and I was able to get some fluid into them, slowly. The cost of the one can of KMR liquid was 12 dollars. I came to Amazon and found this powder...a God-send at 12 dollars for the whole can.Mixing it was tough...it wasn't easily mixed and tiny clumps stayed in. I found that using slightly warm water, put into a Blender Bottle and shaken, then poured through a fine-mesh tea-strainer gave a smooth milk. The babies drink it up now without issue (they did have issues before I figured out to use the Blender Bottle and strainer. They guzzle it down now.I've had the babies for almost a week...they were about 1 week old when I got them and they have grown. I owe their lives to this mix and bringing them into warmth as soon as I did. It was iffy if they would make it, but they did. I've never had any animal this young before so it was a learning curve. I watched YouTube videos on how to care for them.Thank you, Amazon, for this affordable price.BLENDER BOTTLE LINK: Blender Bottle with Shaker Ball 20 Oz, Pack of 3 (Blue, Red, Black)I use the Blender Bottle's whisk inside an 8 ounce glass mason jar to mix the small amount of of mix for the tiny 2 oz pet bottle. I mix 4 ounces and get to fill the pet bottle twice. I like mixing in glass since it cleans easier.
