I ordered one and after it came I decided it was such a good deal I would order another. The visual inspection was done when they shipped it so its good for the full year. They were both within hydro but not very recently one tank had a date of 06/13 and the other was 06/14. I'm not a huge fan the straps they sent with it, it looks like it was designed to be used with different sized pony bottles and there is a very long piece hanging off. It looks like it could easily be caught on something and come undone. Overall I think it's a good deal, I mean I did order a second one.
