I bought this to see what was happening at night - hedgehog/cats/fox all inhabit my garden at varying times.Make sure to set up the camera securely and in daylight - then you can see exactly where it is focusing. You don't have to actually activate it until dusk if you don't want to.Night-time photos are a tad grainy, but adequate - for a beginner, this is a simple camera, easy to use, and maybe a way to discover if you want to get into more serious wildlife photography.It also has a time-lapse function, which I haven't yet used, but may well come the spring and things are growing.

I originally bought this camera to monitor suspected nocturnal rat activity in a corner of my garden. It was very easy to set up and to programme the hours of operation. It takes clear, high definition stills or video - colour in daylight, B&W at night - with good quality sound. It has reassured us that if the rats were ever there, they've moved house, but there's so much else going on, that I've set it up in another part of the garden to record deer, hedgehogs, foxes and our pet cat on their nocturnal wanderings.

Once we'd found the optimum setting and location for the camera, it did the job very well.The mounting strap isn't suitable for all domestic garden locations. The fixed mounting should be good once a permanent mounting is established.

This camera was very easy to set up.Have tried it for 2 weeks and got some amazing photos of the animals in the garden that we did not know were there.Very easy to move around the garden so to cover all places.I would recommend this Camera . You will need to get a micro SD card .I have not put this in a fixed position as I like to cover all the garden over time.Very clear picture and video even in the dark.

Quality of photos and videos were as expected from a camera of this spec, however, trigger speed on video was poor. Nowhere near as quick as was expected, from what was claimed.You get what you pay for!.I've splashed the extra cash on a Browning.

I was very pleased with the prompt delivery of this camera. I found it easy to set up and use. The results from overnight use viewed the next morning were very pleasing. It works well both in daylight and at night. Overall it is very good value for money.

This product started out really well, but after 6 months completely die. We have tried new batteries and the mains plug, but it just won't turn on and can't get in touch with the manufacturers. Very disappointed considering the price. Would love to exchange it for a new one if the company read this.

Bought this as an upgrade on two Bresser Game Camera I have that produce very good pictures even though mp is a lot less. The WiMiUS camera's pictures are not nearly as clear or sharp and very dissapointing. The video cuts out after a second at night although works ok during the day. The Bresser cameras dont have video so cant compare, but the day video ok. Night a waste of time!
