One of the best pill splitters I have ever purchased!

I’ve used four different models and found this to be not only the most accurate, but also the easiest to insert and cut multiple pills at the same time.The only limitations are the small surface holes where the pills to be cut fell partially or completely through. They were easy enough to get out but it was a minor inconvenience when cutting very small pills.Additionally, one does need to apply a fair amount of pressure when cutting, however, I don’t know if an even sharper blade would require less force.Bottom line, I love this pill cutter for the ability to easily place multiple pills in a line and cut them all at the same time.

I have several prescriptions where I need to split higher dose pills in half and was tired of doing it by hand or with a knife. I considered one if the "one at a time" options but need to split a week's worth at a time and didn't want to do it one at a time. This one is the 95% solution, where most of the pills split cleanly in half but a few don't. There isn't much pill dust left over for the ones that are split cleanly. I'm satisfied with it and the price is completely reasonable for the build quality, which is good.

It's not even for me, it's for my cat. He has a tiny pill that needs to be cut in half and is very tedious to do one at a time with traditional pill cutters. With this one, I can do 8-10 at a time depending how close I push them together. He has another pill that needs to be cut into quarters, but the pill tends to crumble with other pill cutters and I end up having to throw away some pills. Not with this one!!! I cut them in half a few at a time and then stand them on the cut edge and cut them again and they're perfect quarters with only a little crumbling. I don't have to throw any of them away!

This thing has a GREAT blade, there is little to no pill waste when cutting. That said I would strongly advise against cutting more than 2 Maybe 3 pills at a time due to the variance you get after 3. I cut up all the pills for my mother who is in her 70's her old cutter wore out and we needed a new one so I grabbed this one a few days ago. I got it today and went to split a months worth of one of her meds, after about 3 times I noticed that if you pout in any more than 3 pills the last two pills on the outer edge barely get cut and you wind up with something like 90/10 instead of 50/50 or even 60/40. I really wish the device worked as well as the blade, if it did it'd be perfect... as is the blade and the ability to cut 2-3 are the only reasons this thing got 3 stars.

piece of garbage!!! does not go through pills to cut them. labeling, instructions in unknown language. nonsense, gobbeldygook. this item is absolutely worthless, it is shameful to offer it on amazon site. if we werent disabled we would have returned it very, very BADt

I love this pill cutter! I have to split multiple pills, but one is particularly difficult. It's a hard oblong pill that has bent and dulled my regular pill splitters. With this double-bladed splitter, I can cut 10 pills at once accurately and with ease. I'm also easily able to cut pills into quarters. I don't sit the pills on edge as the instructions show. I line them up flat with the bars close to the meds. Once I get them lined up, I tighten the bars against the medication gently, then cut. I am impressed with how well this has withstood cutting that one very hard medication, but it also cuts my soft, uncoated medications evenly without crushing them into bits. I do highly recommend you keep the box the splitter comes in for storage. The lid is spring-loaded and doesn't lock into place. Without the box to keep the lid and base in, I would've likely lost part of it by now. This pill cutter is well worth the low cost.

Bought this in Oct. 2021 and before this one always bought those cheap ones which become useless quickly. I love this pill cutter, it's the best and still going strong! BUY THIS ONE!!!
