Buen teclado, software horrible

Unit failed after a couple of days
The unit failed after a few days use, in that the LEDs no longer lit up. The keys still worked, but were hard to read.

High actuation pressure
I was hoping this keyboard would be good as I heard it was $150 when it first was released. Oh well, the other reviews were right.Positives: Keyboard keys feel solid and the plastic feels thick and made of good quality. It has 2 USB inputs on each side of the keyboard. It has media controls. It has Dimmer and volume sliders. It has Macro keys. Comes with a magnetic 3 positional wrist rest.Negatives: Still has a "ping" when keys are released when typing fast, this seems to be common on Mech keyboard. Only one color, if you care about RGB. Screen is useless for most people due to having to install a couple of software. Software doesn't automatically download, you have to go hunting on EVGA's site. Software to customize keyboard is terrible, laggy, and will take forever to relay changes to keyboard. Cable is very thick and takes up 2 USB slots on PC. Volume and dimmer sliders are not accurate to the PC level. Cannot feel actuation point that you are supposed to feel on brown switches (leads to bottoming out). Because of the way keys are lit, some of the keys that have 2 items don't light up the bottom part. KEYS ARE HARD TO PRESS AND MY FINGERS GET TIRED EASILY.I hope this review helps people. I'm trying to get better at reviewing my purchases because I realized how much I rely on them and didn't want to be hypocritical.

Stopped working inside a month
I knew, from other reviews, that this was a risky buy, but I thought I could get something out of it. It didn't work out.To start, the LCD display was a disaster. I'm not gonna go into detail, but the other reviews here are right. It's difficult to change and work with, and buggy as hell. It was supposed to be able to sense my EVGA 1660ti graphics card and give readings on it, but I messed around with the software and could not get it to work. I used the external program, AIDA 64, and actually got some use out of the display, but AIDA 64 isn't free. After I finally got the LCD doing something useful, the keyboard started to fail. I 'reset' it a couple times by unplugging it from the computer, but eventually, that stopped working. The keyboard stopped registering keys. I'd press a key - nothing. I'd have to hold in a key for a long time for it to register, then I might get multiple letters. I'd use the DEL key, which of course was experiencing the same issues with sensing keystrokes.Keyboard was clean in a home environment, less than a month old. No spills or junk in the keyboard were involved. This keyboard is the worst one I've ever used. The cheapest model at Wal-Mart is better, because it's almost certain to do what it was designed to do, which this does not. I threw it out. After more research and reading (it's really annoying to have to buy the same product twice in about a month), I bought a Redragon keyboard. I LOVE it. They seem to be really good value for the money, and they don't require software to change the RGB lights. I've long used Logitech keyboards, and always pricey ones, but if this one continues to work well, I think I'll switch to Redragons. I'll save a lot of money and get a keyboard I love.

Long time evga fan boi and this is junk
Ive had this keyboard for about 8 months now. The last 2 months its been just about unusable constantly double types some times a single press of a key will get 555-6 characters( see what i mean). The volume slider is the most useless thing ever, volume changes on its own the slider is so sensitive and small its impossible to use. The only thing I don't hate about this keyboard is the lcd display. Did NOT come with instructions and there is no manual on EVGA's website. I wanted to set up some macro's never did figure out how to.
