Can the grommet be used on pb? as it says the clamp can't but doesn't specify for pb. i'm hoping to install this on the ikea micke corner desk.

Will it clamp on it yes. It has a big round mounting plate, and big oblong bottom bracket. However, will the ikea style hollow desks be strong enough - i am not sure. My desk is standard office desk material - chipboard. And there are no issues on that

It tells me to use 2 pieces m8x12 bolts (g) to install the c clamp (b) to c clamp brace (c). i can’t, because there are no screw holes in the brace?

The inner part of my C clamp has threaded holes for the bolts. Not sure if yours is different but this is how mine looks.

Cant laptop fall as there's nothing to secure it to the stand tight?
