Little beans pack a powerful protein punch!
I'm a vegetarian and was on the search for a snack that was lowcarb but provided a good shot of plant-based protein--and my nutrition suggested these Lupini beans. I was skeptical...I mean...snacking on beans didn't seem that appealing. But the pickled beans are surprisingly satisfying. For me, they kind of fill in the taste craving of chips--they are easy to munch on, have great flavor, and have a very satisfying snap when you bite them. I also love the small mini snack size (and the variety!). I'm not sure I would enjoy a larger pack and not sure how those would stay fresh. But these little packs are perfect for on-the-go snacking, and I not only keep them in my purse, I added them to my monthly subscribe and save so I don't run out. It was no surprise that I really liked the Mediterranean flavor, but I was surprised I liked the chili & lime so much. The salt and vinegar are fine--just not quite as much flavor. The pictures show using them in meals--I just eat them as is. With 35 calories, 0 net carbs, and 4g of protein, and 1g of fat and all clean ingredients--you can't beat this tasty, healthy little snack!

Great little snack!
It's a very subtle salty flavor. I have yet to try the others, but for its size and what it packs in for protein with a to the one carbs and fiber, it's a great snack.

Tastes gross
Wish there was a way to return them since I only opened one pouch. I'd like to find someone to give them to, but there's no one I dislike that much.

Well we’ll well
I bought these as I’m vegan and love to try different foods. The first thing I noticed was the high price, woah most beans are not this expensive. I went ahead and purchased they come in small bags and portions are small only a few beans per container. They’re tasty and my baby loved them. The taste is similar to pickled beans not many people are going to like them.I decided to buy these from scratch and make them the bag was small and the bags expand woah! They are hard to make they have a very bitter taste naturally and have to be boiled for hours, now I understand the high price. I would prefer to buy them here than to make my own.

Delicious!
These are delicious and great tasting though a bit on the expensive side. Worth it for the delicious taste, and healthy, clean eating. These are lupini beans (a giant legume) so in a way is another basic food in South America/Eurasia that's likely inexpensive, turning into a new fad food elsewhere. However, since it is hard to find healthy snack food esp. minimally processed and plant based that is delicious, it's a thumbs up for me even at the price. Plus I can eat these with my fingers from the bag, though they are moist. These are small containers best for on the go. I prefer the larger containers twice this size at home to avoid packaging waste, which isn't recyclable (not that I'm aware of). Great for vegans or healthy eaters getting some healthy plant protein- though I would recommend these even if you aren't. Wish they were cheaper - I could subsist on them. Though if they were individually sold at the store, the price for a small package would be comparable and reasonable. I just eat the whole box in two days.

Not A Lupini Fan Apparently
I've had lupini beans in restaurant dishes and out of glass jars. Apparently they can vary in how they are taste, perhaps in how they are prepare and/or stored. These were not as enjoyable. They seemed less tender and less flavorful, apart from being overly salty. Won't purchase again.

Not crunchy
Many people say these are delicious, not me. I tried because they are high in protein but low calorie, exactly what I was looking for. But I was expecting that’s to be crunchy and they were not.

a delicious and healthy snack
I am so glad I found the Brami Lupini beans, they are a healthy and delicious way to snack without the wasted calories and fat. I have tried five flavors so far and they are all delicious.

Excellent diabetic snack
Love these beans. Need more flavours though. Once you get past the intial shock that these are wet beans, they are actually really nice and don't spike my blood sugars. You might say that's obvious with zero net carbs but actually I find that some food with zero net carbs still spike my bloods. Only gripe is they are slightly expensive I guess. But diabetics will be used to paying a lot for snacks.

My expectations were wrong
Being on a low carb diets.. I’m always looking for snacks. I’m always looking for savoury snack that are not really high in fats… so I stumbled on these Flavoured Lupini Beans.I thought they would be dried and crunchy like nuts or dried favs beans, but they are more like shelled edamame beans. Looking back at the listing it does say they are not baked fried or dried (my bad)Once I got my head around that they were not crunchy snacking beans they were good, flavours were great. Just not the texture I was craving.Would look I order again? Nah just because I only bought them because I assumed they would be crunchy flavoured snacks.

Disgusting
They have the temerity to say somewhere on here (these details are very confusing) that this is Italy's answer to edamame, and that it's Japan's turn to come up with another answer. I know and love edamame, which are indeed usually moist, whereas these are just wet. The texture is quite similar, but the flavouring is far more disgusting that one could possibly imagine from the description "mediterranean medley". They are not what would normally be described as a snack.I thought one could comment on reviews on here, but the best I can do is copy and paste one, as I had exactly the same experience as the reviewer Frederick, except that he does not describe the difficulty of resisting the compulsion to spit the one bean out, and that I would say the no-return policy must be appealed. How can there be such a policy, when the buyer has only opened one pack out of the staggeringly overpriced eight, and the other seven are untouched? There was nothing sacrosanct about the packaging: they were not in a box as in the picture (they should be returnable for that reason alone), but wrapped up in sticky-taped plastic in a way that defeated my arthritic fingers:Here is Frederick's review:1.0 out of 5 starsDisgusting. You won't be able to eat them. And secretly no return policy.Reviewed in the United States on 22 March 2022Verified PurchaseThe taste and the texture were horrible. I am am very liberal eater. I like everything. But after eating one bean, I could not eat another. These are not snacks. Maybe they could be heated up with rice, add seasoning and this might be a decent meal. But to eat cold wet beans wrapped in a snack size container. If I were starving and in the middle of the desert, maybe then they would be good.I've bought thousands of things on Amazon. This is the first time, they refused to accept a return. Despite Amazon's written policy that their items can be returned within 30 days.Beware this product. If you buy it, believing their statement that they are edible, you're stuck with them.

Surprisingly delicious!
I have a new addiction - I need to lose weight for an operation and my biggest downfall is snacking. I bought these honestly not expecting much as I'm not a fan of beans at the best of times. I was wrong these are incredibly moreish and I started eating 2 or even 3 packets a day. I would definitely recommend this as a guilt free snack, not only are they just 35 cal a pack but they contain lots of fibre which very few of us eat enough of. They are moist and very tasty. I particularly love the salt and vinegar flavour but all of them are very moreish. Even the big packs which contain 5 servings only adds up to 175 cal, which is less thana tin of soup. They are a little on the pricey side at over a pound per small pack but they are well worth it as they are naturally satiating and a pack is enough to keep you satisfied for several hours.

Stupidly expensive!
Really nice and flavourful. Reason for 3 stars is that these are stupidly expensive for 4g ( a mere handful ) of lupini beans and for that reason I will not purchase again unless they come down to a reasonable and fair price.
