This is a great gift set for the home bartender. I actually bring the shakers into my job because I like them so much more than the ones my bar has. They hold up well after a few years of use. I just wish I could buy just the shakers so I can add more to my collection and not have to buy an entire set that I don't need.

Looks good at my bar use it all the time great mixer. You all need to go buy one.

I LOVE this cocktail mixer, and the accessories that come with it. I'm mad at myself for forgetting to pick it up from an Amazon Hub locker when I originally ordered it on sale for like $21 & some change, so I reordered it at the higher price because of the positive reviews it got, and I'm glad I did! It came well packaged, and with all the necessary items to shake up a good cocktail. I like how the sticker on the big shaker lets you know that the items should be hand washed, and the little engraving of their company on the smaller shaker. I shook up some water in the shakers as a leak test, and NOT a drop of water came out - and I didn't really have them all that together tight. I did tighten the shakers together to see how easily they would come apart, and they came apart easily with a simple tap of the hand on the side. Love the color, and the cocktail cards too. The only bummer is that when I sent a text to the # on the card to get my warranty, I didn't get any kind of a response telling me that it had been activated. Oh well, I'll try and reach out to them a different way. I can hardly wait to mix it up, and try some of the recipes listed in the cocktail cards 😊

OK.I admit it. I am sick and tired of paying overrated prices for a martini on a special occasion- $12.50 REALLY? Even the "special happy hour" martinis I have found are nothing but a mix, or bottled flavored syrup, and a bit of alcohol. There is a reason they offer a $6 martini. Duh. Sugar and flavored syrup. I decided to get proactive, reduce the budget, and increase the quality ingredients, convenience, and make the martinis in my own kitchen. Now- I am known to be a wine snob..... so quite a newbie when it comes to cocktails. After researching the 'cocktail culture', with advice from local bartenders, I was on the trail of quality tools and watching them in their moments. The Boston shaker is the go-to. I threw out my ' year's old colored shaker with the top with strainer and lid'. I would shake and then couldn't remove the lid! How frustrating. And annoying. My searching brought me to this Mixology Shaker Set. The reviews gave me a bit of confidence on ordering, even though I was a newbie to bar equipment. Report: I ordered. I received the set in record time. I washed the shakers and strainer immediately. Later that day I proceeded to give my husband our 'happy hour' martini on the lanai. It was the Bikini Martini that we had paid $12.50 for locally. With the recipes included in the set, I will expand our tastes. In the mean time, I am thrilled with the ordering, the customer contact, and the function of the shakers and strainer. Do not hesitate to give this set a try, especially if you are a newbie. This purchase will build your confidence, and reduce your frustrations. I give the set a 5 star rating. Now- let's continue to fill the wine fridge, supply the beverage bar, and enjoy those martinis. (3 T vanilla vodka, 4 T coconut rum, 1/4c pineapple juice, splash of grenadine, spear of maraschino cherry) Cheers to the Florida coast!

Great sturdy cocktail shaker set that looks great and does the job. Only drawbacks are the lowest quality, loosely coiled strainer and too small jigger.

I am not really a wine drinker so I hardly ever finish a whole bottle timely (a lot of good wine got into stews and sauces). On whim I thought that I should try cocktail because liquor can have a long shelf life. So I got most of the necessary liquor types and found this set that comes with jigger and strainer. Boston shaker is larger but it has more uses (as a mixing high ball) and easier to separate top and bottom. The stainless steel is rather thin but good enough for home use. The enclosed cocktail recipe booklet is a nice touch but I prefer SpruceEats for cocktail recipe.Besides this set, I bought a stainless steel muddler and lewis bag/wood mallet to complete my home bar. My first mix was Side Cart :)

After looking for a good cocktail mixing set, I discovered this one from Mixology and Craft and it had good reviews. I went ahead and ordered the set and waited with anticipation. When the set arrived 2 days later, I was like a kid at Christmas. I carefully opened the packaging to reveal the superb box it was shipped in. When I opened that, it was like the clouds parted and the angels were singing with how bright and shiny the set was. I carefully inspected every piece, and then threw some ice and water in the large cup, capped it with the small cup and gleefully started shaking it. Slowly at first, then faster and faster until I reached a fevered pace with my shaking. When I stopped, I was spent and the outside of both cups was frosty and a tight seal had been maintained, allowing for no leakage. I then washed the entire set and waited for our upcoming party to put the set to good use. One thing to note is that the jigger does NOT have the small markings inside for partial pours. I misread the description and reached out to Mixology thinking there had been a mix up in my order. Kate replied almost immediately and explained my error, that I had misread the description, but offered to send me a new jigger at no charge. I read through the description again and yup, I had misread it and assumed the jigger came with smaller measurements marked inside. I then offered to pay for the new jigger since it was my fault, but Kate mailed the new jigger to me at no charge. I highly recommend this set, and as you can see in the picture, its takes center stage on my handmade butcherblock bar!
