Paris versus New York Postcard Box: A Tally of Two Cities in 100 Postcards Paperback – May 8, 2012

I use these postcards to send all over the world. Tons of people have complimented me on them and even asked where I got them. They highlight different (yet similar) cultural icons between New York and Paris from architecture to pop culture. I recommend them to anyone who wants to share this dichotomy with others for postcard sharing.

These are very nice cards, it was interesting to see the similarities and differences between the two cities. I bought them for a travel themed retirement party at work, everyone wrote a note to the retiree on a card. The completed cards were placed in a decorative wood treasure box and given to the guess of honor on their official last day of work.

From the post cards to the packaging this was a delightful surprizse. Perfectly done, fun, witty, and of good quality. It will keep me in post cards for years and I bought some as gifts and people have been totally amused by them.This is an item that is totally well done. Highly recommended...and the price is great.

A lot of fun, and as there are two of each card, you can mail one of each to friends to stir their imaginations or desire to travel.As a collector of postcard sets, I am glad to have this one.

really these are very nice postcards...however, its really 50 cards and 2 each of each...which makes the title - 100 postcards a tad misleading...nevertheless the postcards are crisp and its def worth the 13 bucks

This product has two copies of fifty postcards. Each postcard displays an aspect of life that is different between New York City and Paris.The postcards are a high quality for a reasonable price. If you like postcards or would enjoy the contrast between New York City and Paris, then you'll enjoy these postcards.

These are absolutely charming postcards! The images on the card are divided down the center with half an image of Paris, and then on the other half, it's counterpart in New York (aka: Grand Palais/ Grand Central). The drawings are similar to the style on the outside of the box. Am very happy with this product!

I loved this set, the designs are all so clever and pertinent, especially to someone who has lived her entire life between these two cities. Also it comes with 2 sets of 50 cards, which means you don't have to be afraid of sending one because you'll still have another to admire!

Cela faisait longtemps que ces cartes me tentaient, et j'ai fini par les acheter.Elles datent de 2012, quelques-unes ne sont plus d'actualité, ou plus opportunes (Woody Allen...), mais cela reste très plaisant et bien fait.Chaque carte est en double, il y a donc 50 motifs. La boîte par ailleurs est très belle, et pourra resservir plus tard, elle s'ouvre à l'horizontale.

Les 100 cartes postales tirées de l'ouvrage éponyme reprennent 50 des plus jolis visuels contenus dans le livre. Le coffret se ferme grâce à un aimant, ce qui est pratique. Seul bémol : j'ai reçu un coffret abîmé (tranche du bas déchiré), mais je n'ai pas envie de le renvoyer à Amazon car seules les cartes postales m'importent au fond. Les cartes sont au nombre de 100 mais sont toutes en doubles. Cela permet d'en garder une et d'en envoyer d'autres car le verso est imprimé comme une carte postale. Je vais en encadrer quelques unes, je les ai achetées pour ça. Je regrette un peu qu'elle soient toutes au format paysage (horizontales), mais dans l'ensemble, je ne regrette pas mon achat.

J'étais partie pour acheter le livre et je suis tombée sur ces cartes postales. Encore mieux car je vais pouvoir en profiter tous les jours en les accrochant au mur. J'enverrai l'autre moitié par la poste. Je regrette juste le format des cartes un peu plus petit que le standard et l'épaisseur de la carte qui semble donc fragile.

Me encantó este libro. Pero mejor en Postales! Lo ví en una librería y no pude comprarlo. Ahora lo tengo en mi biblioteca. Estas postales tan bonitas son un juego visual donde ambas ciudades: Nueva York y París, se correlacionan y son distintas a la vez. Un libro para los amantes sensibles de estas ciudades.
