Great safety device for your well
Read the instructions. I marked the instructions on the side of mine so it is easly seeable. This device will save you a bunch of money if your well losses it's prime or stops pumping water for any reason.

Exact replacement
This was an exact replacement for the original which had burned out the switch contacts. The switch mounts on a Harbor Freight sprinkler/water pump. It fit perfectly, and when operated needed no adjustment since it was already set for the 30-50psi ON/OFF operation. I'm guessing this one will last another 17 years like the first one. Great value!

Great price
Worked as stated ... Had to bleed out the switch, then it worked nicely.

Prompt shipping
I prefer the manual reset type of pressure switch for my well pump. If it gets low on water when I leave a hose running, it shuts the pump off when pressure drops below 20-25 lbs. It requires manually holding the lever up until pressure builds. Far cheaper than replacing a pump.

Not worth purchasing
Junk item, do not waste your time with this switch. I installed it and everything seemed fine. However, a few days later the switch started tripping multiple times a day for no reason, needless to say it was never a good time to run out of water and my well is located about 120 yds away. I had to deal with this hassle until my replacement arrived (different brand of course).

Became intermittent at 6-7 weeks.
This pressure switch is part of a well system and controls a 240V @ 4.7A 1/2HP pump inside of a water storage tank. The pump is responsible for 40/60 psi water to a household. It was put into service about 6 weeks ago and has worked pretty well up until about 3 weeks ago. At that point we started to get about one failure per week where the pressure dropped to 40psi, and the contacts must not have been solid so the pump did not turn on. Then as water draw from the pressure tank continued, the PSI dropped under 30, and at that point the switch requires manual intervention in order to get the pump to turn on.The end result is that inside the house, the pressure drops to ZERO and there is no more water. Not fun when taking a shower!!!Over the last 3 weeks it has gotten worse. I have inspected the contacts and seen no signs of arc'ing, spitting, or other problems. I cleaned the contacts but the problems continued to occur. So the other day I replaced this unit with another more expensive and well known brand, and this one is going into the spares box.
