Etimo Crochet Hook, Size 7.5/4.50mm

I've crocheted a long time. I've used a bunch of hooks. In the last year I've started to search for my *perfect* hook... buying one size of all the most popular brands, and some dupes, to test drive them. This is by far my absolute favorite!The slide of the yarn on this hook is so smooth that I didn't even realize how all those other hooks were lacking until I tried this.... now I don't want to use anything else. With a pencil grip, which is what I use, the handle is the perfect size, texture and softness.... but man oh man.... that shaft! 😍 it is sooooo smooth. The head / hook part is genius also. It's tapered ( which I prefer) but there is something in the shape that stabs and holds yarn with absolutely no splitting or slippage.I have since ordered more sizes, bc I literally hate using anything else now. At some point I will order the set.Also, the rose colored are nice but I really like the red metal of these. It aids visually for me.

I used to be a die-hard Clover fan, but these have changed my mind. From now on, I'm an Etimo girl all the way! They are super comfortable, the red is gorgeous, and they are very well made. I have purchased several in different sizes, and plan on purchasing the pink set as well.

I bought a set of Etimo and love them, but it's not a full set. I'm now filling out that set with individual hooks of all the missing sizes. You can't go wrong with these. Smooth, nicely built and a quality product.

I didnt think hooks mattered that they are all the same. So I used the cheap 2 dollar ones. I just started crocheting and I didn't know anyone to ask. Then I found a clover hook on clearance at a hobby store. And I was, well, hooked! This glides like butter. Feels very comfortable in my hand and I don't tire as quickly.I have learned however that if I switch between different hooks I can work hours longer and this is now one of two I trade between. I'm getting so much more done! I love the neon colors it makes it much easier to find.

I needed a ergonomic hook for an upcoming project and a hook that had a low chance of sliding out of my hand while I was working. This hook is a game changer. The grip is comfortable which means I can crochet without having a death grip on my hook. Another bonus is that it stops itself from falling out of my work in progress (of course this is dependent on the angle).

I received this size as a gift and I just love these hooks. The craftsmanship that goes into these hooks are beautiful. They are comfortable and strong. I have other brands of ergonomic hooks and some are a little too thick or too hard of gripping to hold. Some others hook shafts are too short. I was a little sceptical that the red crochet hooks would be as wonderful as other people thought. But they are excellent quality and make crochet so smooth! Worth saving up for!
