Easy to put together with the supplied tool.
They are nice and comfortable, they even withstood the grandkids visit.lol. They roll easy and they recline so you can tip back. A very nice chair, I also bought another one for my wife because she really liked them too.

A worthy chair. The big casters recommended are well worth buying. Need mechanical smarts for installing casters!!!
This is a nice chair. The Office Chair Caster Wheels recommended for this chair are well worth the money. I read many of the reviews before I assembled this chair. Do not tighten any of the chair bolts until all of the upper chair has been assembled. Then tighten all the bolts carefully a little at a time so that all the bolts are tightened together. If you order the industrial grade Office Chair Casters do yourself a favor and add a drop of oil, (any kind), to the caster stems before attempting to drive the caster stems into the socket of the chair. You might have to remove the wood part of the legs so you can apply force to install the casters. I used large pump pliers, a blunt nosed punch and hammer to get the job done. If you do not feel inclined to do this job have a friend who is mechanically inclined do it for you. But if you do decide to remove the wood part of the legs take the time to find a phillips screwdriver that actually fits the heads of the little screws. If you can not find such a screwdriver do not attempt to remove the wood leg parts. You will hate yourself if you do. After oiling the caster stems using a blunt nosed punch and hammer I drove the casters in as far as possible. Then using large pump pliers rotate the caster stems and hammer some more. It is mostly the coating of paint in the socket that makes installing the casters difficult.

Great chair to dress up you home office desk
Love the look and style. Not the most heavy duty chair but for the price very suitable for home use.Original package had one of the chair arms broken (during shipment?) The box was well packed but "stuff" happens.I contacted customer service and they promptly ordered a replacement item which I received from overseas in less than a week.I would not hesitate to do business with this company again.

Perfect Companion for Our Old Office Chair
This is a beautiful, strong and comfortable Wood Bankers Desk Chair. It is a perfect companion for our much older oak desk chair. The two of them are shown in the attached photo. This new chair seems every bit as sturdy as our old chair. The parts of the chair were packed somewhat loosely in the box such that the side edge of the seat got bumped (see photo). The parts were easy to identify. I had almost no difficulty in assembling the chair. An attached photo shows how I used a small block of wood to insert in the center of the casters, which I could then tap into the caster receptacles with a hammer. This relieves the difficulty some people have had in installing the casters.

Zero Manufacturer Support
Overall I'm very pleased with this chair. I did follow other reviewers suggestions to loosely tighten the bolts holding the arm assemblies until all wood pieces and bolts were together, then tightening them up. Following those suggestions, I had no problem putting the chair together. There was a problem, however, when the boxed chair was delivered. There are three inexpensive black plastic sleeves (bellows as they are called) that surround the metal piston which connects the chair's seat to the wheel assembly. Two of the three sleeves were cracked, most likely from they way they were packaged in the shipping box. Following the chair's instruction sheet's suggestion I contacted the manufacture (via email) seeking a replacement of these plastic sleeves. Within four days the manufacture responded to my request with a message stating that the replacement parts were being shipped that day. And sure enough, two days later the replacement sleeves showed up via UPS. Kudos to Office Star for their quick response at resolving my issue. I really like this chair.Update: Nov 2021 - The manufacturer has disappeared. The pneumatic cylinder that holds the chair's seat in position has failed. The chair sinks to the bottom when I sit on it. The manufacturer's website no longer works. Their phone number does not work. There was no response (after 9 days) to the email I sent seeking warranty support. Amazon was helpful. They, too, tried to find the manufacturer with no luck. Amazon gave me a partial refund, which I considered amazing since I'd had the chair for 18 months. I changed my 5-star rating to 1-star.

Chair seems nice, wheels are a project.
The chair seems sturdy and was very easy to assemble. The wheels were another story. They didn't fit. In order for them to fit, we had to use a 27/64 drill bit to gently make each hole larger. Once complete, we had to use a mini crowbar to more precisely direct the hit of the hammer. This was easy enough if you have the right tools, but not something that can be done by hand.
