new forever shampoo
I love this shampoo and encourage ladies whose hair is dry and nothing has worked, to give this shampoo a try. After turning 50 and adding a new prescription for my health, my hair which I like to wear long, was becoming so dry that I quite blowdrying and let it air dry. But when that didn't help I started researching on the internet and found that the ingredients listed in this shampoo could help. So I thought what could I lose since it wasn't as expensive as the shampoo I was using ($35.00) a bottle. Well after just the first shampoo I noticed how soft my hair was and now I'm sold. Added bonus, its smells wonderful and it lathers up into this velvet feel. I would definitely suggest giving this shampoo a try.

Hydrating and Cleansing
This shampoo delivers what the product description says - it cleans both hair and scalp thoroughly without over-drying. On the contrary, it provides good hydration in the dry winter months. It also smells nice to boot.I use it in combination with other herbal hair products like amla oil and henna. This is a great combination for any such hair product, and washes them out of your hair very well when you're done. Because the shampoo also has herbal extracts, it's fantastic if you're using things like amla to color your hair - it reinforces the color and makes it last longer.

Love, Love, Love it!!
I love this shampoo and it smells great. I have regular relaxed african american hair and it leaves my hair feeling really smooth. I follow up with the bhringja conditioner and my hair comes out great everytime. I've only been using it for a short period of time but i have definitely noticed less shedding of hair. The shampoo is almost syrup like in texture and the bottle is really small only so I would suggest buying a larger size anything over 200ml.

Overpriced
Since I've used this shampoo before (when I bought it from an alternate source), I know that the product they are offering is good. The problem is that they are overcharging for this shampoo.1) The picture doesn't let you zoom in to read the volume mentioned on the bottle. Also, the flat picture of the bottle does not let you view or even assume how wide/big the bottle must be.2) The product description does not mention the volume being offered.Hence, you assume that for $10.00 you are getting your money's worth and getting the same sized bottles that you can find in stores. But, it turns out, for $10.00 you're getting the really-thin bottle that has a much lower market price. It's just $10.00 but now you know. I returned it and got my money back.:)

Does contain Sodium Laureth Sulphate.
Hello. For those of you who are looking for a completely natural, no chemical shampoo, then this is NOT it. The title is misleading, as I thought it was only herbs. It does contain sodium laureth suplhate, which is in many shampoos and soaps, but it has been shown to not be good for your hair. It gives the shampoo the sudsy, foamy feel, which is why some people may prefer it. I personally do not like to use products with this in it. Just thought I'd let you guys know, in case you were wondering what other ingredients where in it!

I was amazed to see how well it worked on his head ...
My son naturally has a strong musky scent to his scalp. I looked and tried so many things to help. I picked this shampoo up from the local Indian market for myself, but used it on him one day. I was amazed to see how well it worked on his head scent.

No listed ingredients
The shampoo bottle had no list of ingredients and so this purchase is a risky one. There is no way to tell if the shikakai, amla, and reetha are pure and are the majority of the product or if they are in minute amounts in this mixture. The perfume smell was pretty bad and this suggests that there are probably sulfates in it, which is what I was trying to avoid in the hopes of finding a good herbal shampoo. Others may like it, but I do not recommend it for anyone searching for pure herbal shampoos.
