Sounds great and easy to install
I've been using this in my side by side for several months and it works great. Note that the side by side has a soft top and is stored indoors, so it hasn't been exposed to inclement weather. The sound is good and it gets plenty loud. Installation was simple: use some zip ties to attach it to the roll cage and then plug it into the 12v receptacle. I would recommend this product.

Supposed to be designed for rugged outdoors, NOT!
Enjoyed the product while it lasted. Sound quality was amazing!!! Unfortunately, 4 months after purchase, the product just died on. My issue is, it’s a atv designed to survive the ruggedness of outdoors. Trees, water, mud etc. I used mine for non of the above. Mine is clean and still looks brand new, no harsh anything on the product, yet it still didn’t last. It’s been inside the cab of my truck (tractor trailer) for the entirety of its 4 month life span.

Loud and tough
Bought this about a year and a half ago.Though it is not the clear sound on some music. Some songs sound better than others. Loud enough to hear at 50mph with a helmet. I have it mounted in front. This thing fell off the bike at about 45mph and was drug by the by the power cord for about 150 feet. Still works great.

What a giant piece of crap
I read a ton of reviews on this. I went with the 700w 8" version. The highs and mid range literally sound like you are talking through a tin can and string. There is NO possible way this is 700w. None. My bose speaker that I can fit in palm of hand from 7 years ago sounds louder than this. I am far from an audio snob.... but good God this is either defective or the biggest steaming pile of tech that I've purchased in last 10 years. I want to send it back in the worst way, but they will probably charge me half the cost in shipping. Garbage.

Good for the money?
I don't know. They looked cool out the box. I bought this to rig up on my boats Monster Tower. My boat does not have a stereo and rather than spending thousands installing a loud stereo and buying nice speakers I figured I would try this. They worked out of the box, the bluetooth worked during my test with no problem. They are loud.I wasn't expecting much in terms of sound quality and I didn't get much either. At 3/4 volume on my phone they sound pretty loud and passably good. At this volume the kids and lows are all jumbled together and the highs seem to scream out the little tweeters disproportionately high but my kids couldn't tell the difference and they were dancing around. If I turn the phone up higher than that with hip hop Bass and Mids completely distort becoming one mess. Ant the tweeters are just obnoxious. I can listen to 70s rock at full volume but the tweeters are way louder than the mids and lows, it'll probably be perfect for over the top of my boat engine while we're wakebaording but I can't take it sitting in my shed.I seriously sat there questioning whether or not I should return it due to the sounds being so marginal, but... Its just my boat and its really just for the kids, when my wife and I are at the sand bar alone once or twice this year we'll just be listening to quiet relaxing music over it anyways, and it was only $120, and its loud over all, so I kept it.I have a nice BOSCH worksite radio, it is not nearly as loud but the quality of the sound is way better. These speakers are just cheap and suck, hopefully they are tough.I got this thing rigged up to the top of my wakeboard tower with a couple after market brackets and the straps provided with the boom tube.It plugs into a female 12 volt accessory plug.So far the bluetooth worked on mine out of the box on day 1.It also has an aux in wire sticking out of it as an alternative to blue tooth.I wanted to love it, I definitely don't but it is probably about what I should have expected. I'm gonna keep it and beat hell out of it, we'll see how long it lasts.3 out of 5 stars. If it wasn't the cheapest version on Amazon I would have returned it and tried the next option down. I wouldn't buy more expensive ones, they get even worse reviews.I could see building my own box and mounting the head and speakers and amp in there myself and running the whole thing through a 12v outlet, that is probably what I should have done and will do when/if I break these.
