I still use it, and it does what it supposed to do for the most part.Here is my review:Pros: Cheap Price, Nice picture, Light weightMy Cons: Can't get it to loop over old files after card fills up, even if its "charged" it won't work with being plugged in? Therefore you must delete the files and basically reformat the card each time it fills up... Once plugged into my Mac the files show up. Problem is that it takes forever to load one video (This may be just me not knowing how to do it another way).Overall its pretty neat and records a pretty nice picture. I Drive early mornings right before sun rises and it looks great. Some reviews have said in direct sunlight it looks like crap but I haven't had that issue and I'm on the Coast in S.California where the sun shines bright! ;-)

A thing like this is why specific reviews are necessary - you get what you pay for. A few things are really irritating: the video/card do not automatically loop over old footage, you have to manually delete files; before you delete the files you have to unlock them, all them, which is quite annoying; battery does not charge so be prepared to have a cord dangling to your lighter in the car 24/7; even after driving 3 hours and assuming the battery is full the video unknowingly shuts off when unplugged; the mound to the window is fine and sturdy but the latch on the actual video falls off more than I'd like..Good video quality although the sound is low and quiet. I wouldn't buy again, even at the price.

This device makes the most unbearable noise while powered on. It is like a combination of a hiss and a whistle. It is a total distraction in the car and makes me fully enraged by the end of a drive. The video quality is good though, so at least I had nice video of my noise fueled anger drives.Update: The merchant pressured me into a replacement unit free of charge to change my review. After agreeing to that they never sent the unit and stopped responding to any emails. So I stand by my review. This product is horrible and the merchant is shady.Update 2: After repeated email to the seller following I clearly stated I did not want them to ship a replacement. They sent one anyway. It arrived in a damaged box, and the unit will not stay powered on. The seller continues to harass me via email to change my review to a favorable one or to delete it. I have now blocked email from this seller to make it stop.

Now this unit is one to be rated. You cannot play back on it. You have to plug it into a computer or some device as such to get playback. I tried everything. Also the battery don't last but a few minutes. Ya have to keep it plugged in the 12 volt car lighter always. Also you'll be goin' down the road and it will just shut off when it feels like. Then ya have to wait 30 seconds or so before you can start it again. And one more thing it doesn't hold a lot of gigs. Have to format it a lot.

Overall this is a good camera at a decent price. There is however a problem with the firmware on it. Once the sd card fills up it will not automatically start recording over the old files. When this happens the screen turns blue and it lets you know the card is full. You then have to format the card and start over. For this reason I gave it 3 stars. if it worked as it should I would have gladly given it 5.

Good picture quality considering the cost. Mounts nicely. Easy to operate. Loop recording occasionally doesn't work (requires a simple reset and memory card clear to fix), but it is overall a great value. Would recommend.

One hot day in the car and it was toast.

I bought 2 of these they are both junk. The camera turns on and off randomly while driving and the settings keep changing to lock the videos so the loop record won't work. A lot of bugs
