This tank heater is amazing! I've ordered at least 5 of them, and have had no problems with either the heater or thermometer working. Batteries for the thermometer are included and even come with suction cups to better position in your aquarium. The remote for the heater is easy to use, and the guide for error codes is straightforward.I use these heaters for my 7.5 and 10 gallon tanks.My only gripe, is that sometimes the heater auctions arrive a little bent from shipping and packaging. Otherwise an amazing product!

This heater is keeping my 10 gallon tank at 77 degrees. The remote control is handy if you want to change the temperature. I like that it displays the water temp on the front of the heater and it comes with a separate thermometer you can use to verify the displayed temp. So far, I really like this aquarium heater.

Good product at a nice price point. I use for plant reservoir heaters and they work great for that. The auto shut off function when out of water is really quite nice as i have shattered others because i forgot to shut them off when feeding my plants. I also like the remote feature so i dont have to pull it out or get a separate controller to change the reservoir temp Great product. Will buy more when needed. They keep my 5 gallon and 20 gallon at the set temp and ge there relatively quickly. A bigger one may be better for the larger reservoir though.

It works ok.I think when I first put it in my 10g to warm up 10/15 degrees though it took like, three or four hours which seems kinda extreme.Other than that it's HUGE. Which is kinda unsightly. The more I look at it the more I wish I'd gotten a little stick heater or something because I'm just covering this up and it kind of defeats the purpose of having a digital display. Plus it comes with a temperature probe and a little digital display on the outside of the tank which is just more wires to deal with.

I put it in a 10 gallon tank and so far so good. If the thermometer reading is correct, the heater is keeping the water at 1 degree plus/minus from the set temperature. Bonus is that it came with a 2nd digital thermometer which I placed at the other end of the tank.

I really wanted to like this product I bought it because of the remote control so I wouldn't have to mess with the heater in the tank this item was bought for a 5.2 gallon Imaginarium which is a secondary tank unfortunately when I put the heater in it couldn't hold the temperature in fact when I set it to the desired temperature it kept eating past the desired temperature I what's in a replacement thinking I got a defective one and the second one was just as bad with the same issue so they were returned if they could fix the heating issue I would gladly give this item another chance unfortunately because of my experience with his heater I can only give it one star

Very cool design! It is quite large compared to the tube style heaters, but usability is worth the sacrifice of space. The remote temperature adjustment is very nice.

Unplugged for a day and it did not reset the E8 flashing error code. No mention of what E8 means in the instruction booklet. Before that it was always set at 68 and the water was 72 when I unplugged it hoping to reset it. Not a good value if it only last a year or two then becomes unreliable. When it was working, it worked great.
