Q: What size screws are used on the bottom of the mirror on the part that holds the stand together? I lost them and need to order replacements.

I don't know the size. It may be in the instructions. If I remember correctly, they are machine screws. Take the bottom crossbar with you to a hardware store, and they can almost certainly get you the correct screw to fit the socket.

You should be able to find replacement screws thru Ashley, if not try Home Depot or Ace Hardware store

Q: Is this solid walnut?

My mirror is either the walnut or cherry. I think I got the Queen Anne Cherry. From what I can tell it is the actual wood and has a type of cork backing stapled to it. Either way I am very pleased with the look of the frame and mirror. Hopefully this will help you with it.
