I know these were supposed to be designed to give a little extra height boost but that seems less important when it’s not comfortable. Because boots are shaped for your heel to be at a certain place, when you lift where your heel sits inside the boots with these insoles it’s now at a weird place and the boot no longer wraps around your heel. It may work better with something like Uggs but I’m using them in generic waterproof snow boots. And now where my heels sit I constantly feel like my socks are going to fall off because it rubs so much. And then in the end I decided to try to remove the foam that adds height. For better or for worse but to my surprise. I was basically able to peel off the foam super easily. I’m not sure that speaks to great quality but at least I could remove some of the height.

These look a little cheap when you get them and honestly, I had low expectations, but they are great! I have five pairs now and I try to put them in all my shoes. I even tried to wear with sandals---kind of a failure LOL. I have ball of foot pain (capsullitis of the second metatarsal) and these inserts making walking bearable again. They do take up some space so I will probably order my shoes up a size in the future to accomodate these fluffy inserts. Good bang for the buck.

I ordered these for a pair of slippers that were too big. They are warmer but so be aware that after a short time, the wool compacts down to nothing where all your foot pressure goes.

My Uggs had absolutely no insert left anymore. I ordered these to see if it would make them more comfortable. They fit perfect with some maneuvering (to be expected) and they fit perfect. My Uggs feel brand new now and I can wear them all day again! So glad I purchased them!

I have an order pair of Cabela’s driving moccasins that I wore in the foot bed out of. My go to shoe repair person so they couldn’t really help. Suddenly it occurred to me. Perhaps I can get insoles. I couldn’t be more pleased with the results. They are soft and comfortable. I wish they were a bit wider, but that’s always my complaint. They are super nice. If you’re on the fence, jump. It’s worth it.

I was surprised my expensive UGG slippers didn't have 100% wool linings, it's a wool and rayon blend. They got flat and smelly very fast, and made my feet hot. Real wool is a whole different story: appropriate temperature, less sweaty, less smelly. Wool is moisture and odor resistant when it is lanolized; I got some Lanolin cream and spread it on my feet, which softened my feet and deposited lanolin on the insoles! They've stayed fresh-smelling since then.The foam on these isn't very good, it flattens quickly, but the wool part is excellent. Just makes me remember to put on actual shoes if I'm on my feet a lot. And sadly I won't be putting these in shoes I wear all day (I wish!).I have men's D-wide slippers and these were wide enough.

The inside soles of my LL Bean suede women's slippers were completely worn down and smooth, but everything else was fine. These fleece insoles fit perfectly and my slippers are like new inside and super soft and warm. I wear them constantly.

These are the softest, fluffiest, warmest insoles I have ever had. I originally bought them for my winter boots that were a size too large. It was a PERFECT FIT!
