Well my kid was super excited for this and just turned 6. It required quite a bit of adult intervention and the gears would not work properly for the forklift or excavator (so far. Haven't tried all 12 builds). Seemingly quality designed parts but the actual designs of what you build are terrible.

Challenge for Grandson
Like structure of kit. Challenge for grandson and pieces go together nicely. Great entertainment.

OK for 5 yr old
Age range should only be to 6 unless the child has difficultly with motor skills. Bought this for a 9 yr old. Disppointed. His 7 yr old brother found it to be way too easy. Nice toy but no challenge.

Other than the packaged box being dented on two corners, the item was as expected. Overall , there were no complaints
