We got this Speedo Buoy for both our kids who are in competitive swimming in different levels. This was recommended by our local swim team and several others from a reputable brand Speedo.This buoy is perfect in terms of the size/length, material, ergonomic shape/handles giving a perfect buoyancy for the kids as they journey through the practice especially in the early stages of the swimming.This is our second one as these things are so easy to lose or mix-up with other kid's stuff during the practice time both in the pool and outside...I always write my kid's name on the buoy and other swim gear with a permanent marker so that it is easy to identify.

This is a great pull buoy. I have been using this for indoor swimming for 3 x a week (2000m each time) since October 1, 2024. I injured my calf muscle late September and was not cleared to kick from my PR until end of December. That being said, my only draw back is that there is a grove in the middle of the buoy where the two sides are joined which an irritation/rash on my thighs. Now that In have been cleared to kick again, i am weaning myself off the pull buoy so i wont have to depend on it for the duration of the work out. In the meantime, I will use jammers to help the rash heal.

I can swim but I am taking lessons to improve my swimming technique. You know better strokes, kicks, breathing,etc. My teacher brought one of these for me to try last week, It was not this brand. It was no where near as heavy as this one, The lighter one was good, but it at times it was harder to keep in place. I would be swimming and opsey, it would pop out.After class on Tuesday, I went on Amazon and started looking for a Buoy, I read the reviews (Thank all of you for your reviews. They sure are a blessing and helpful). I decided to give this one a try.It is great.I appreciated the fact that it was heavier. By that I do not mean uncomfortable. The added weight and size made it easier for me to keep it in place. Also this is definitiely useful for an adult. The one that I used on Tuesday was a lot smaller.I was able to use this Speedo Buoy with no trouble. It allows me to float so that I can focus on my stokes. I saw it online for less at other places, but I wanted it fast. I used Prime and it arrived in great condition with no trouble.
