Is this product 100% corn free?

No, it is not corn-free. It says on the Quali-C website that Quali-C is sourced from non-gmo cornfields. http://www.dsm.com/products/quali-c/en_US/about-quali-c/traceability.html

Some people are saying this isn't real vitamin c, what is quali-c? why doesnt it dissolve in water?

The Vitamin C recommended by the Vitamin C Foundation is a Quali-C product, and a quick search of "ascorbic acid" shows it to be synonymous with Vitamin C, so the argument that Quali-C is not real Vitamin C seems untenable. As for its solubility in water, it dissolves almost instantly in hot water.

Doctor's best is owned by a multi-national, food conglomerate company. how can i trust that this product is truly quali-c from scotland?

The label indicates it was manufactured in Scotland. Unless they are giving false information on the label, I will have to assume that it is true. I have been unable to find another vitamin c powder that is certified non-GMO that is not made in China from corn, it seems to work fine for me, no colds or flus or infections for over 2 years since I have been taking it. I suggest you contact Doctors Best directly with any questions, if you can trust what they tell you. Hope this is of help. The main thing is to avoid vitamins from China.
